Tom Cruise And Matt Lauer - The Interview We've All Been Waiting For
Here it is! It's been YEARS in the making - round two.
Three years after his infamous interview on TODAY, actor Tom Cruise sits down with host Matt Lauer to discuss family, his marriage to Katie Holmes, and his new film “Valkyrie.”
Let's discuss!
Matt Lauer Vs. Conan O'Brien - The Feud
Why does Matt Lauer always get picked on? Actually, this feud is funny and one big joke. If TV had more of these, I would probably watch more morning programs. Here is a video clip showing Conan O'Brien and Matt at it again. Will this feud ever end?
Matt Lauer Splits With Pregnant Wife

According to Star Magazine, Matt Lauer and his pregnant wife, Annette has split. The couple took some time to separate in August and couldn't reconcile. They are tyring to keep the divorce private. Matt already has two children with Annette.
"It's a pretty clean divorce - no fights, no custody disputes. They are following the pre-nup - no extreme demands or dramatic charges. Everyone's going to great lengths to keep everything private."
TMZ UPDATE:
On Sept. 13, Annette Roque filed a petition in Manhattan Supreme Court seeking a split from her husband, but, according to Rush & Molloy, the former model is withdrawing the petition, and a rep for the couple says today that they're "not getting divorced." Last spring, the Lauers separated, then reconciled. It is unclear when the Lauers will welcome their impending arrival.
THANKS OKAY!!
Matt Lauer Defends Tom Cruise

Matt Lauer is a better person than I am. He came to Tom Cruise's defense on the Today show in response to Paramount dropping Tom's company. I think it goes to show what a great guy Matt really is. He actually made a really great point. If Tom was caught in a room full of hookers smoking crack, we (the public) would be most likely to forgive his actions. THAT IS SO TRUE! Think Kate Moss, Hugh Grant, Pat O'Brien, R Kelley, etc. Read Matt's quote below.
"You know what, I have to say something. You talk about erratic behavior and things like that affecting the box-office and yes maybe he jumped on a couch, and I was in the middle of one of those episodes here on the Today show and maybe he speaks out about Scientology and some people don't like that. But what about the stars who are in and out of rehab every week? Is that any worse? And yet you find movie companies still in business with them. So, this is all a strange world we live in." (source)
