Matthew McConaughy Replaces Owen Wilson In "Tropic Thunder"
Matthew McConaughey has replaced Owen Wilson in the Ben Stiller directed DreamWorks comedy, Tropic Thunder. Matthew takes Owen's place after he was hospitalized for a suicide attempt last month. The movie also includes Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Bill Hader and Steve Coogan. According to IMDb, the plot outline of the movie is,
Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying.
The show must go on right? And doesn't it seem like an obvious choice to get Matty in the mix?

"We tried it (being gay). It wasn't for us. Our relationship just kind of developed. He got out of a relationship; I'd just gotten out of a relationship. We all have those kinds of relationships - and relationship isn't a bad word. He adds, "His idea is like, 'Look, it is what it is, so go out there and have fun.' He's truly carefree - which is to say, he truly doesn't care."
