Matthew McConaughey has replaced Owen Wilson in the Ben Stiller directed DreamWorks comedy, Tropic Thunder. Matthew takes Owen's place after he was hospitalized for a suicide attempt last month. The movie also includes Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Bill Hader and Steve Coogan. According to IMDb, the plot outline of the movie is,

Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying.

The show must go on right? And doesn't it seem like an obvious choice to get Matty in the mix?

Matthew McConaughey has lost his damn mind. He looks like an escaped psycho patient. What the heck is going on here? I never saw someone fall so fast - SO HARD. Matthew McCounaghey took advantage of one of the last days of summer by doing a little surfing and showing us his most famous pose. We will all take it Matty. But a little shaving cream would have made this goodbye oh so much sweeter. Better luck next year I guess...
