Oksana Grigorieva’s mother insists her daughter had nothing to do with the
breakdown of Mel Gibson’s marriage.
The Russian singer – who is rumored to be pregnant with the ‘Lethal Weapon’
star’s eighth child – recently made her first public appearance with Mel but
Lyudmila Chernukha is adamant she is not to blame for his split from wife
Robyn.

"He split up with his wife three years ago, so to suggest that she
has broken up their marriage is rubbish. He was no longer with his wife so
he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be
Oksana."

However, Lyudmila refused to confirm her 39-year-old daughter’s pregnancy,
saying:

"I can't say anything. Wait for the official statement from them."

News broke of Oksana’s rumored pregnancy earlier this week.
A source said:

"In late April, Mel gathered his children at the family home
in Malibu and broke the news that Oksana is pregnant, and he expects them to
accept the baby as a new sibling.

"They are quite upset. Even though Mel assured them the pregnancy was
unplanned, they’re furious with him, and say they’re going to take steps to
protect their inheritance, which they feel is in jeopardy."

Oksana, 39, already has a 12-year-old son with her ex-partner, former Bond
star Timothy Dalton, while 53-year-old Mel has seven children with Robyn –
his wife of 28 years.

Mel Gibson brought a surprising, (or not so surprising guest depending on how you look at it), to last night's X Men premiere event.  A Ms. Oksana Grigorieva, his "alleged" lover and the reason for his divorce from wife of 28 years, Robyn Moore, walked hand in hand with the star.  I'm actually shocked that he isn't being more discreet until the divorce is final.

I'm curious to know what you guys think of the whole situation...?

Now onto the sexy people... Halle Berry was gorgeous in a black see through bodice dress while Hugh Jackman was looking as handsome as ever in a suit.

Mel Gibson's wife, Robyn, has just filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage. 28 YEARS!!!!!!

Mel's rep statement reads:

Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to
maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to
do so."

The papers were filed April 9th, 2009, and claim "irreconcilable differences."

Sources tell us there is no prenuptial agreement -- they were married in
1980, before Mel Gibson amassed a fortune estimated at $900 million
back in 2006. Under the laws of California, community property -- which
includes earnings -- is divided 50/50.

The Gibson's have 7
children, but only one -- Tom, who turns 10 tomorrow -- is a minor. In
Robyn's legal papers, filed this morning in L.A. County Superior Court,
she seeks joint physical and legal custody of Tom.

Robyn is also asking for spousal support and attorneys fees.

The couple has apparently been seperated for about 2.5 years, which will be important to know when it comes to dividing assets.

Robyn's case will be handled by Laura Wasser, who also handled Britney Spears' divorce.
