Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Jewel, Angie Harmon, Kristin Cavallari, Giuliana Rancic, Kim Kardashian, Amanda Bynes, Anne Heche, and Melissa George each walked the red carpet for The 16th annual Race to erase MS held at the Hyatt Regency in Century Plaza.

Celebs Out Walking Their Dogs
We see so many celebs with their adorable kids, how about celebs and their adorable four-legged kids (a.k.a. dogs)? Here Jessica Biel was spotted out walking her dog, Tina. Jessica has two projects in the pipeline: Nailed, which is about a waitress who gets a nail stuck in her head, causing unpredictable behavior, and Planet 51, where Jessica is the voice of Neera. Planet 51 is about a group of aliens who live in fear of an alien invasion when an astronaut from Earth lands.
Meanwhile, Melissa George was spotted walking her dog in Toronto. Melissa, who came to fame after doing Alias and Grey's Anatomy, was most recently cast as the female lead in a CBS pilot called US Attorney, which is about a team of federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan.

Celebrities Arrive To The Costume Designers Guild Awards
Quite a few celebrities attended the 11th Annual Costumer Designers Guild Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills last night looking phenomenal. Of course it's a Costume Awards ceremony so several ladies were on their best fashion behavior.
- Kristin Davis looked classic in a red cocktail dress.
- Emmanuelle Chriqui wore a lovely white floor length gown with jeweled halter.
- Jennie Garth was golden in a Grecian inspired gown.
- Melissa George choose a nude floral off the shoulder dress and complimented it with a Old Hollywood hair style. Very Veronica Lake.
- Debra Messing was probably one of my favorite looks last night with a peach bejeweled strapless gown. But what do we think about that tiara?

Fact Or Fiction: The Real Reason Melissa George Left Grey's Anatomy
So actress Melissa George reportedly finished filming for Grey's Anatomy this past Tuesday. And now she's reportedly coming clean about why she really left the show. Melissa was supposedly courted by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes to play a lesbian character, but ABC reportedly kept that from happening.
'So many pages were being cut from my character every week,' Melissa
told a friend. 'I was supposed to have a full-blown love affair with
Callie (played by Sara Ramirez), but Shonda said the network
was making too many notes on the storyline. At first she commiserated
with me, but then when I'd complain, she wouldn't even talk about it.
My agents calls went unanswered, and I wasn't just going to sit there.
Shonda promised me something and she didn't deliver. That's when I
decided it's time to go.' "
It did seem like the firing of the actress who played Hahn (Callie's first lesbian lover) did not bode well for Melissa's character, Sadie. Yet with an impending actors' strike, and no other work lined up, it seems like an unusual time to leave a job! Then again, Melissa may not need the work. And it sounds like there was tension with Shonda, too.
Melissa went on to tell her pal that Shonda is 'a nightmare. She's really lovely — until she wants to punish you.' "
Why would she want to punish Melissa? Could this be damage control from Melissa's camp since her option wasn't picked up for more than the initial number of episodes?

Melissa George Leaving Grey's Anatomy
Sadie, we hardly knew ya. For those of you who are now completely confused (whether you watch Grey's Anatomy or not), Melissa George's character on Grey's Anatomy is Sadie. And Melissa confided to EW's Michael Ausiello that she is leaving the show.
'It was my choice,' the actress-slash-Golden Globe nominee (for In Treatment) confirmed to [Ausiello] at HBO's red-hot after-party, held poolside at the Beverly Hilton. 'My last day of work is Tuesday.' "
Although Melissa said she loved pretty much everyone on the show, she was ready to "do something else."
On the verge of a possible actor's strike, a working actor is voluntarily leaving a job? From one of the top-rated shows on TV?
Apparently, Ausiello's moles provided more information.
'Melissa's arc came to a natural end. Everyone at the show adores her. We're genuinely sad to see her go.'
'The character was cursed from Day One,' sniffs an ABC source. 'She was very difficult to root for.' "
I don't know if the character was cursed... maybe just crowded out with a too-large cast? Sadie was a complicated character who couldn't be accurately portrayed in just a few minutes. What do you Grey's Anatomy fans think?
Melissa told Ausiello she "won't [get] a big send-off, but it's really cool what they do." And Melissa seems to work pretty steadily, so I'm sure we'll see her in other things!

HBO Post Golden Globe Party At Circa 55
True Blood!! I just LOVE that show! Dying to find out what is going to happen with Lafayette's character! Here they all are (Anna Paquin, Chris Bauer, Nelsan Ellis, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley) at the HBO Post Golden Globe party held at Circa 55.
Also in attendance were Melissa George, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Adrien Grenier, Laura Dern, Tyrese, Eva Mendes, America Ferrera, Zachary Quinto, Rachel Griffiths, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrera.
Do celebs just party hop? I couldn't imagine picking between an HBO party vs an NBC etc.
