Melissa Joan Hart Working On ABC Family Show With Joey Lawrence
Joey Lawrence?! I can't believe we are talking about Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. LOL! I would actually watch this show if it got picked up. There I said it. I'm a sucker for the good ol' days.
Melissa told Access Hollywood that she is currently working on an ABC pilot for their Family channel alongside the 'Blossom' actor.
“I’m going to be doing a new pilot with Joey Lawrence,” Melissa told Access Hollywood of the potential ABC Family show. “Hopefully it’ll go to series.”
The actress said that she will actually be playing... an ADULT! First time for everything right?
“It’s going to be a fun little sassy character for me,” she said. “It’s going be different ‘cause I get to play a little bit more of a grown-up, a politician, kind of a bad girl politician.”
In the meantime, Melissa is gearing up for another week on “Dancing With the Stars.” Anyone rooting for Melissa's team?

Melissa Joan Hart Talks About DWTS
Melissa Joan Hart is ready to go as a competitor on 'Dancing with the Stars' this season. That doesn't mean she's finding it all easy, however, as she confided to OK! magazine.
I just try to be as prepared as possible and practice as much as I can.
Do any of the dances intimidate you?
My partner, Mark [Ballas], has shown me a little fox-trot and a little jive. The jive looked scary! It’s very fast and there are all these little flicks. I start to get the footwork down, and then he’s like, “Now we’re going to throw in a little kick.” I’m like, “Wait, what?”How do you feel about the skimpy outfits?
The cha-cha costume is kind of making me like, “Aagh!” It’s high on the thigh, and my thighs are where I’m not really comfortable. So I’m hoping dancing is going to give me dancer legs.
Yeah, those costumes would intimidate just about every woman, I think! I'm sure this is helping Melissa maintain her weight loss. Are you watching this season of 'Dancing with the Stars'? If so, then do you have a favorite yet?

Melissa Joan Hart Says Donny Osmond Is Out For Blood
Melissa Joan Hart is excited and ready for this season of Dancing With the Stars! But, she says that Donny Osmond is definitely her biggest competitor.
“I competed with Donny Osmond in the Toyota celebrity grand prix -- the car race. And I know him as a competitor. He is tough. He knows how to win. He's already been emailing me today – ‘What are you doing? When are you rehearsing?’ He's crazy.
“I think Donny is definitely out for blood, and I think he is very popular. I'm now on Twitter, I'm all crazy on Twitter. It's mellyjhart, by the way, if you want to follow me. I've seen a lot of people write to me and say, I totally want to vote for you but my mom's making me vote for Donny. I have a feeling that's going to be my Achilles heel.”
Melissa adds that she is so happy to have finally made it on the show!
“They asked me to do it the first season, and I couldn't do it. Then second season I was pregnant. Pregnant again fifth and sixth seasons. So now, ninth season comes around and it works out where I can do it, I want to do it, and they want me, and here I am. You know, as a mom I want to do great for my boys. I want them to see you know - that's mommy dancing like that. I want to be able to show off for them a little bit.”
Right now I’m nervous about what I'm going to be doing. The first live show is really going to hang there as that moment of like ‘uuuggh, there's people watching and I have to dance in a dress in heels and a guy and what? And a spray tan and lots of sparkles. ‘I hope they don't fly off. I don't know - that first show is going to be really tough.”

New Dancing With The Stars Cast Revealed
This is my favorite part of the show - finding out WHO has signed up for 'Dancing with the Stars'. Sixteen celebrities are ready to get their tango on. Who will be floating around on Fox this season? Here are a few names that have been announced so far:

Melissa Joan Hart Puts Family First
Melissa Joan Hart had a celebratory moment with her weight loss and People magazine cover only to have to deal with something far more serious: her mother's brain tumor. Her mother had to undergo an eight-hour surgery in June because of it.
"I was beyond worried but had faith," Melissa tells In Touch. "I
had to be patient. It was tough. Having all six of my siblings there
made it easier. We tried to distract ourselves with games in the
waiting room. I even stupidly challenged my brother to a push-up
competition!"
Thank goodness the surgery was successful! Yet Melissa, her husband, and children have relocated from LA to Conneticut in order to be closer to Melissa's mother.
