Mia Farrow's Brother Committed Suicide

Mia Farrow’s brother committed suicide, police have revealed.
Sculptor Patrick Farrow's body was discovered by officers at his art gallery in Castleton, Vermont, late on Monday evening and it has now been confirmed he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The chief medical examiner in the case said:

"These findings are consistent with evidence found during the investigation. Mr. Farrow's wife contacted 911 upon discovering her husband unresponsive."

Police had initially classified Patrick's death as suspicious, but have now confirmed the medical examiner's suicide ruling is consistent with evidence found at the scene.

Patrick - who owned the Farrow Gallery with his wife, artist Susan Farrow - was Mia's older brother and one of seven siblings born to author John Farrow and actress Maureen O'Sullivan.

The 66-year-old artist's death comes just six months after Mia's 35-year-old daughter, Lark Previn, died after a long illness.
'Rosemary's Baby' star Mia has spoken of her grief at losing her beloved brother.
Her manager Laura Berwick said:

"The family of Patrick Farrow is grieving the tragic loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who sadly chose to take his own life. They greatly appreciate the support of their friends during this difficult time."

My thoughts are with this family.

Mia Farrow Going On Hunger Strike

Mia Farrow Going On Hunger Strike

Mia Farrow feels very strongly about the crisis occuring in the Darfur region of Sudan, especially the Sudanese government's decision to ban international aid agencies from Darfur starting last month. Mia feels so strongly she has decided to go on a hunger strike.

Farrow tells the Associated Press her hunger strike is 'a
personal expression of outrage at a world that is somehow able to stand
by and watch innocent men, women and children needlessly die of
starvation, thirst and disease.' "

Mia is reportedly asking world leaders to "help build a credible peace process" to end the violence in the Durfar region. She is 64 years old.

It's certainly a noble gesture. I wonder if the Sudanese government will respond? What do you think?
