I almost can't believe this. Well I can, because he had exorbitant spending habits but still...madness. Of Michael Jackson's net worth, almost all of it was in assets. He had only $668,215 in the bank! That is CHUMP CHANGE to a celebrity like Michael!!!!!!!!!! Some starlets probably spend that much on a major awards show alone.

Michael Jackson Died From Lethal Levels Of Anesthetic Propofol
Now that we know how Michael Jackson died, maybe this will bring some closure to his family. Autopsy results and the full story are in.
The Los Angeles coroner's office found lethal levels of anesthetic propofol in Michael Jackson's body after he died.
Now the question is whether or not MJ's doctor, Conrad Murray, will be held responsible.
Murray told LAPD detectives he was nervous Jackson was becoming addicted to propofol, so he was trying to wean him off. He'd been lowering the dosages and mixing it with two other sedatives, lorazepam and midazolam. He says on June 23, he gave Jackson two medications and withheld propofol.
On June 25 -- the day Jackson died -- Murray gave Jackson a number of sedatives. When none worked, he gave him a dose of propofol, according to court records. (Propofol is only supposed to be administered in hospitals.)
But, according to court records Murray only gave him the drug because he demanded it.
On the morning Jackson died, Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 a.m. When that was unsuccessful, he injected lorazepam intravenously at 2 a.m. At 3 a.m., he gave the still-awake singer midazolam. He continued to try different drugs over the course of the morning.
At 10:40 a.m., Murray gave Jackson 25 milligrams of propofol -- down from his usual dosage of 50 milligrams -- after Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug, court records show.
That is the problem -- when stars get so big they have only yes men around them -- including their doctors. So what do you think? At the end of the day does Dr. Murray need to be held responsible for the death of the pop star?

Michael Jackson Will Be Buried On His Birthday
Michael Jackson will be buried on his birthday.
The late star’s father Joe Jackson claims Michael – who died on June 25 following a suspected cardiac arrest – will finally be laid to rest on August 29, which would have been his 51st birthday.
Joe revealed the service will take place at 10am at Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The elder Jackson says he will return to Vegas after his son is buried that Saturday to receive a celebrity star in the singer's honor at the Brenden Theatres, a cinema at the Palms that Michael Jackson and his children frequented. The Brenden will also screen the 1988 film ‘Moonwalker’ that day.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed the Jackson family was planning to buy a private garden at the Los Angeles memorial park so they can all be laid to rest at the same place.
A source said:
"They are waiting to work out the details on buying plots for the whole family before they lay Michael to rest."
Since his death, Michael’s parents have reportedly kept his body in a “secret freezer”, allowing them to visit him in private while they decide how to bury him.
The ‘Thriller’ singer’s mother, Katherine Jackson has visited the body several times since it was moved to the unknown location and often stays by the gold casket until she is shaking with cold.
I'm glad Michael is finally being buried - now this family can start to heal.
Surprise In Custody Case For Jackson Children
We already heard about Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe coming to a custody agreement, naming Katherine as the permanent guardian of Michael Jackson's three children: Prince, Paris, and Blanket. The judge signed off on their agreement this morning.
But here is a surprise (at least to me) Michael's dermatologist, Arnie Klein, had attorneys present in the courtroom!
The doctor wanted a say over the education and care of Jackson's two
eldest children. ET reports that the court found that Klein had no
standing to make that request and his legal team left the courtroom."
So much for "I am not the father of these children," huh?
According to Entertainment Tonight, notes were presented in court this morning signed by Prince and Paris requesting that they stay with their grandmother. The judge reportedly allowed them 83.5% of the living allowance that was requested for them, as well as a living allowance for Katherine (who said she was financially dependent on Michael).

Katherine Jackson Will Retain Custody Of Grandchildren
According to Katherine Jackson's attorney, Katherine and Debbie Rowe have come to an agreement regarding custody of the Jackson children (Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7). Katherine will retain custody.
Katherine's attorney Londell McMillan said on CBS' The Early Show
Thursday: "It's an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of
the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money."Asked if the issue of custody and Rowe had been resolved, McMillan said on The Early Show, "We will be making an announcement very shortly on that issue, and all of the parties are resolved. There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson."
He dismissed reports that Joe Jackson shouldn't be involved in
raising the children. Said McMillan, "I don't think it's valid at all.
I think Joe Jackson is the husband of Mrs. Jackson, but he's not living
in Los Angeles."
Debbie reportedly will retain her parental rights and get visitation with her the two older children. She will begin to forge a relationship with them with the help of a psychologist. Debbie will not be receiving any additional money as part of this agreement.

Law Enforcement Official: Anesthesia Killed Michael Jackson
A law enforcement insider has told the Associated Press that Michael Jackson died from too much Propofol. The pop star's personal doctor Dr. Conrad Murray allegedly administered the drug to help him go to sleep on a regular basis. The last time was too much for his body to handle.
Murray is currently being investigated for manslaughter though he is denying perscribing or administering any drug that caused Michael's death.
Jermaine Jackson Doesn't Want Michael To Be Buried With The Bad People
Jermaine Jackson doesn’t want his brother Michael to be buried with “bad people”.
The former Jackson 5 bassist wants the singer to be laid to rest at his former Neverland ranch and not in a public cemetery.
He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper:
“I think it’s a great possibility Neverland will be his final resting place. We have to think about security – we can control that there. In a public cemetery we couldn’t.
“The options are Neverland or the main cemetery in Los Angeles. I’m totally against the idea of a public cemetery. I just don’t like it. He’s done so much to make the world special – and he needs to be somewhere special. He should be somewhere where it’s safe and where he isn’t sharing the ground with other people who are not good human beings. At those places they bury people who have done bad things in their life.
“Why should he be in the company of these bad people? He should be by himself. His world is Neverland.”
I will say this - the man is grieving and during that process the mind forgets and is illogical. Jermaine knows that not everyone buried in a public cemetery has done something bad in their lives, but I think he has a great point about security. It would be the safest bet to have Michael's body protected at all times.
