Michael Jackson's Will Filed In Court

Michael Jackson's Will Filed In Court

An attorney for Michael Jackson filed his will in Los Angeles Superior Court this morning, according to CNN. Here are some of the details that have been made public.

Michael placed his entire estate into the Michael Jackson Family Trust, which is another document that will also be filed with the court today. He asked that his mother, Katherine Jackson, be legal guardian of his three children.

If she was unable, then he asked that Diana Ross serve as his children's legal guardian.

And as for the mother of his two oldest children, Debbie Rowe?

I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson," Jackson's will said.

Well, that's crystal-clear, isn't it?

Hopefully any disagreements will be resolved amicably rather than this turning into a protracted legal battle over custody and assets.

Michael Jackson's Autopsy Says No Foul Play

Michael Jackson's Autopsy Says No Foul Play

Michael Jackson's second autopsy reportedly confirms there was no "foul
play."
The late singer's grieving mother Katherine Jackson was allegedly reeling
last night as she was told the independent autopsy confirmed the
findings of the first examination and found "unique and significant marks
and injuries" on his body.
The Jackson family had insisted on a second examination of the 50-year-old
star's body, following his death from an alleged cardiac arrest on Thursday, after his father Joe Jackson admitted:

"I'm suspecting foul play
somewhere."

However, family lawyer Brian Oxman says the second results - which were
reportedly broken to Katherine at her home by the coroner who conducted the
private examination - were allegedly consistent with the original report.
Brian told Britain's The Sun newspaper:

"The second autopsy is done and the
coroner came to see Katherine.
"Any autopsy report would note a number of unique and significant marks and
injuries on the body of Michael Jackson."

"Firstly the four puncture
marks on his chest from the needle. Well I've seen those marks on his chest
- I've seen his body - so I know they're there.
"His weight - we know he was incredibly lean. Regarding baldness, Michael
does have a distinctive patch on the side of his head. I know that his
brother, who is only six years older, has a similar fuzz from losing his
hair and has to dye it.

"Regarding the tablets in his stomach - well we know he was taking a lot of
prescription drugs. That hasn't been denied."

Hopefully, this will start the closure process for his family.

Propofol Found In Michael Jackson's Body

A drug used for surgical anaesthesia has reportedly been found at Michael Jackson's home.
Propofol - which is used to sedate patients before surgery - can only be gained by medical professionals and is usually given to patients via an intravenous drip.
Gossip website TMZ quotes a source as saying:

"There is no conceivable way this drug can be properly prescribed for home use."

Although Los Angeles County Coroner's officials have not confirmed they discovered the drug at Michael's Holmby Hills home, they have admitted they discovered various prescription drugs there on Monday.

Officials entered the house at about noon and came out carrying two plastic bags.
TMZ reports police were looking for "controlled substances and paraphernalia - in particular needles".

Michael died of a suspected cardiac arrest at his home last Thursday.
It has been claimed Propofol can cause cardiac arrest if it is mixed with other painkillers - reports suggest Michael was taking up to seven different medications at the time of his death - but is so strong it can cause cardiac arrest by itself.
Registered nurse Cherilyn Lee, who is also a nutritionist and was working with Michael ahead of his London comeback shows, claims the pop legend was an insomniac who regularly asked her to prescribe him Diprivan, the brand name for Propofol.
She said:

"He wasn't looking to get high or feel good and sedated from drugs. This was a person who was not on drugs. This was a person who was seeking help, desperately, to get some sleep, to get some rest."

The Latest Michael Jackson News (UPDATE)

The Latest Michael Jackson News (UPDATE)

The Michael Jackson news keeps on coming, and some of it is definitely getting stranger.

According to CNN, Michael's body will be available for public viewing at the Neverland Ranch this Friday.

Regarding Michael's death, the physician who lived with the singer, Dr.
Conrad Murray
, explains that the 30-minute delay between the time he
found the singer unconscious in bed and the 911 call was because Dr. Murray did not know the exact street address for the
house. Thirty. Minutes!

Regarding Michael's will, yesterday attorneys for his mother, Katherine Jackson, claimed that Michael died "intestate," which means he had no will. Yet Michael's attorney has produced a will that Michael reportedly signed in 2002. In that will, he left his estate to his mother, three children, and a charity. Noticeably absent? Michael's father, Joe Jackson.

It's unclear what directions Michael left regarding custody of his children. And the latest news out about that makes things even murkier.

Update: Debbie Rowe Interview A FAKE

Update: Debbie Rowe Interview A FAKE

*** Update: This weekend I posted this story about Debbie Rowe not wanting her children now that Michael Jackson has died. It has been reported that this story is a FAKE. ****

Now that Michael Jackson has passed, Debbie Rowe is allowed to speak freely about her involvement with the singer and their children. And boy! Is she talking...
Turns out at least two of the children are not Michael's biological kids, they married for show, they never had sex and once Debbie was unable to have more children, she was let go.

When they met at her place of work, a Beverly Hills dermatology clinic:

"It was a place in both of our lives when we were both very lonely. We both loved animals. That's how we got talking.
"He started letting me into the treatment rooms, letting me help the doctor with him. He would come in three or four times a week.

On Michael's marriage to Lisa Marie:

I started talking to him about his divorce from Lisa Marie.
"Michael said that he always wanted children, but she didn't want children with him.

On deciding to have children for Michael:

"I was comfortable with him. I offered him my womb. I was just the vessel. It wasn't Michael's sperm.

We were close enough that I knew I could offer him that, so I did. It was a gift.
"But after the second birth had so many problems, he knew I couldn't have kids any more. He didn't want anything to do with me. He took the kids. The settlement was written up, and he just wanted me to be quiet."

On their marriage:

Katherine Jackson Files Guardianship Papers

Katherine Jackson Files Guardianship Papers

This morning Katherine Jackson filed guardianship papers for Michael Jackson's three children, according to TMZ. The children have reportedly been staying with her since Michael died last Friday. The guardianship papers say, in part:

As for why Katherine thinks it would be "best" to appoint her guardian,
"Minor children are currently residing with paternal grandmother. They
have a long-established relationship with paternal grandmother and are
comfortable in her care."

The petition states the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother."

The petition says it's "not known at this time" whether the mother (Rowe) agrees that Katherine should be the legal guardian.

As for Prince, Michael's third child, in the box where it says "mother" the box is checked "none."

Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of Michael's two oldest children, reportedly doesn't want custody of the children.

A hearing was scheduled for August 3 to hear the petition.

In the meantime, according to CNN, Katherine was awarded temporary guardianship.

Hopefully the children will be able to stay together and there won't be any big custody battle.
