Michael Jackson's Doctor Has Denied Involvement With Death

Michael Jackson's Doctor Has Denied Involvement With Death

Michael Jackson's doctor has denied administering a painkiller which is believed to have led to his death.
Dr. Conrad Murray
- the pop legend's personal cardiologist - says he didn't give the singer an injection of the powerful painkiller Demerol, which reportedly triggered his suspected cardiac arrest last week.

Dr. Murray's lawyer Edward Chernoff insists the physician never prescribed nor administered Demerol - one of the cocktail of prescription drugs reportedly found in the star's body after his death - to Jackson.
Chernoff said:

"There was no Demerol. Not ever. He just happened to find him in his bed and he wasn't breathing. Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse."

It is thought 50-year-old Jackson went into cardiac arrest and his heart stopped beating around an hour after being given a shot of Demerol.
It was claimed yesterday that in an attempt to revive the singer, Dr. Murray later gave him a shot of adrenalin straight into his chest and performed CPR.
Leaked information from the initial autopsy on Jackson reportedly shows he was jabbed in the heart four times, thought to be the attempts to get adrenalin to his heart. He also had several broken ribs from the CPR.

Jackson's family are said to be desperate to speak with Dr. Murray and get his full account of the time he spent with the star and the procedures he took to revive him.
It has further been reported by a family source it took 50 minutes before an ambulance was called for Jackson, while desperate attempts to resuscitate him were made.

Chris Brown Wasn't Allow To Participate In Michael Jackson Tribute During 2009 BET Awards

Chris Brown Wasn't Allow To Participate In Michael Jackson Tribute During 2009 BET Awards

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

Chris Brown wanted to pay tribute to Michael Jackson during the BET Awards and was D-E-N-I-E-D.

Who played a major part in preventing it from happening? Jay Z!

The network execs also wanted no part of Brown because they feared his involvement would TRUMP the actual tribute. So they wouldn't allow him on stage.

Rumor has it Chris' team was working (begging) until the very end when his performance was supposed to begin. No one budged. INSTEAD, Jay Z performed and took his time slot.

It was said to have originally been determined that Chris Brown, Usher, Neyo, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and Dream would all be an active part of the Michael Jackson Tribute.
But the latest word is Chris Brown has been denied!!!!

Word backstage from all the celebrities and producers is that Chris Brown and his handlers literally begged the BET execs to reconsider. Insiders say, “Michael Jackson is/was Chris’ idol and this tribute means the world to him.”
Head honchos fear a backlash if they allow Chris to perform since emotions are still so strong about the Rihanna assault incident. They don’t want Chris’ drama to overshadow the networks Michael Jackson tribute.

I am told that Chris Brown’s entire team is STILL WORKING AT THIS MINUTE to convince BET execs that they should allow Chris to perform.

The Twitter picture above is from one of Chris' background dancers.

Check out the video - even Beyonce didn't know that Jay Z was about to perform.

What do you think about everyone not allowing Chris on stage?

Winners From The 2009 BET Awards Plus Michael Jackson Tribute

Winners From The 2009 BET Awards Plus Michael Jackson Tribute

Tributes to Michael Jackson dominated the BET Awards last night.
Joe Jackson - the father of the 50-year-old pop legend, was one of the first to pay homage to his son, speaking about him on the red carpet at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.

"I wish the world had recognized him when he was living. Right now, he's bigger than ever. But I wish he was here to see all this, to hear all this."

Janet Jackson also made an appearance, and thanked Michael's fans for all their support in the wake of his passing.

"My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you.
"I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts.
"On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love - thank you for all your support. We miss him so much."

Jamie Fox hosted the show, and entered wearing a red leather jacket in a nod to Michael's costume in the music promo for 'Beat It'.
After the event opened to a medley of Jackson 5 songs - including 'ABC' and 'The Love You Save' - Jamie walked onto the stage to 'Beat It'.
He said:

"No need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man. We are going to go through all of Michael Jackson."

The singer-and-actor also performed Michael's signature dance move the moonwalk and performed the Jackson 5 hit 'I'll Be There' alongside Stevie Wonder and Ne-Yo as images of the late King of Pop flashed up on a big screen.

Nanny Tells Of Drug Abuse In Jackson Home

Nanny Tells Of Drug Abuse In Jackson Home

We have 6 weeks left to hear about the autopsy, but former nanny Grace Rwaramba is already painting a pretty specific picture of Michael Jackson.

People took advantage of him, his family is hungry for his money, and he was heavily addicted to drugs.

Not how the world wants to remember him I am sure.

But Grace insists she pumped Michael's stomach countless times because of overdoes.

"I had to pump his stomach many times. He always mixed so much of it," Rwaramba said, referring to drugs. "There was one period that it was so bad that I didn't let the children see him," she is quoted as saying. "He always ate too little and mixed too much."

Out of concern for the children, Grace even tried to plan an intervention with his sister Janet and mother Katherine.

"He didn't want to listen," she says, "that was one of the times he let me go."

And now everyone is concerning themselves with the money that Michael liked to hide around the house. Grace says her last conversation with Katherine was focused on finding the funds.

"She said, 'Grace, the children are crying. They are asking about you.
They can't believe that their father died. Grace, you remember Michael
used to hide cash at the house. I am here. Where can it be?' "

It's starting to get very ugly...

Justin Timberlake To Take Michael Jackson's Place In Concerts?

Justin Timberlake To Take Michael Jackson's Place In Concerts?

What will happen to all the fans who bought tickets to see the legendary King of Pop perform live during his concert series in the UK? I'm sure that's the least of the family's concerns right now but fortunately for fans of Michael Jackson, rumor has it that Justin Timberlake may step up to the plate.

"Michael was Justin's idol, like he was for many artists," says a
source close to the singer. "Right now he's still in shock but already
there is a big feeling that he and maybe some others in the
entertainment industry should do something to show their admiration for
Michael and his music. Michael was working so hard to make his comeback
in London work so it would be fitting if Justin and some of his friends
fulfilled at least some of that commitment in some small way."

Madonna was rumored to be planning on making a surprise appearance at the concerts before news of MJ's death so maybe she will help fill in as well?

I mean, really, does it matter who else performs? There was only ONE Michael Jackson, I don't think anyone can replace him.

Update: Were Drugs A Factor In Michael Jackson's Death?

Update: Were Drugs A Factor In Michael Jackson's Death?

I wasn't sure about reporting this, but since the family attorney Brian Oxman is talking to the media (and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do that without the family's blessing), I'm putting this out there. According to Oxman and other sources, the family is concerned that Michael Jackson's untimely death may be drug related.

"I don't know what caused Michael's death, and I don't want to speculate as to what the causes are," Oxmon tells Usmagazine.com.
"I only know that I warned them there was the misuse of prescription
medications by people who were enabling him; his handlers, folks who
should never have been permitted to allow him to use those medications
in the manner I observed."

Out Of Respect, LaToya Jackson's Scene Has Been Pulled From Bruno Movie

Out Of Respect, LaToya Jackson's Scene Has Been Pulled From Bruno Movie

Looks like Universal Studios is doing the right thing for the Jackson family. LaToya's scene in 'Bruno' is being removed from tonight's premiere and there is a chance it will be removed entirely from the film once it distributes worldwide.

LaToya, Michael Jackson’s older sister, made an accidental cameo in “Bruno,” similar to one by Paula Abdul, where she was coaxed over to a home in Los Angeles for an interview with the fake Austrian fashion journalist.

A source at Universal, the studio behind the film, told Access Hollywood that the scene in the movie with LaToya, which involves a Michael reference, was cut from tonight’s premiere out of respect for the family.

The scene may also end up deleted when the movie heads out on general release in the United States beginning July 10, the source added.

I'm sure the Michael Jackson reference was not a nice one. This was an unexpected thing for a large studio to do and I am sure the family appreciates it.
