Mila Kunis Encourages Macauley Culkin To Stay Friends With His Ex

I guess Mila Kunis is a better and more secure person than I am because I would NEVER tell my husband to go have lunch with his ex-girlfriend. Hey, I'm just being honest here. But Mila actually encourages Macauley Culkin to stay friends with his ex-wife because she feels you shouldn't stop caring once you split.
"I think it shows a lot if you have a nice amicable break-up. At one point you loved the person or cared about them, why stop? You don't have to have sex with them or fall back in love, but be nice. It's nice to have a friendly correspondence. I'm the type of girl that says, `Go to lunch with your ex, go have dinner, find out what's happening in her life.' You shouldn't stop caring because you fell out of love."
What do you think about this? Is this something you encourage as well? Perhaps I'm in the minority here.
