Even 82 year Hugh Hefner knows who 15 year old Miley Cyrus is. He saw the big fuss that went down over the Vanity Fair picture scandal and has now extended the invitation for her to pose in Playboy when she’s of legal age.

“Certainly she’d be welcome to the magazine. She’s a very pretty lady.”

Reporters also asked Hef what he thought of the Vanity Fair pictures.

“To make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos — I think it’s a reflection of how schizophrenic America is about sexuality.”

I guess for a man like Hef, who has spent virtually his entire life around women wearing next to nothing, a girl covered in a sheet just isn’t a big deal to him!

“I think I’m too much to handle right now. There’s so much going on in my life at the moment with travelling and there’s always cameras following me - all that kind of stuff. I don’t think it’s great for dating anyone. There are guys I like to hang out with, but I like to be the girl who no one can get. I think that’s always hotter anyway. It’s much more attractive to be the person everyone talks about.”

Miley Cyrus put on a great show at the Disney Channel Games Saturday night. It was originally reported that she would not attend in an effort to let the Vanity Fair “picture scandal” die down. Thank goodness she was allowed to continue because that’s exactly what she needs to do - focus on her music. While performing, she noticed a sign written by a fan that said, “Miley! I’m  praying for you.”

“I hope you had an awesome time. I saw a sign back there that said, ‘Miley, I’m praying for you.’ I could not be more appreciative. Thank you guys for all your support. Without you, none of this would be possible. I love everyone of you and I could not be more appreciative. God bless you.”

Last Feb. my friend’s daughter had the 3rd of 3 open heart surgeries she’s had since she was born 11 years ago. After the last surgery my friend said, “She was very depressed for many days, (this happened last time too). Anyway, as some of you know, she is a big fan of Miley Cyrus (AKA Hannah Montana) and she just happened to be in Las Vegas for the weekend doing a concert tour. As luck would have it, she made a surprise visit to the hospital on Sunday (20th). …and after her dad talked to many people who knew people, who knew people, a visit was arranged. You can’t imagine the difference it made. From that point on, [her] depression was GONE. She has had a blast telling all her friends she met Miley Cyrus, and she has photos also that will give her a smile for many years to come. The fun thing is that all our kids got to meet her and get a picture with her.”

Aside from the big Vanity Fair picture scandal that’s been going on recently, Miley Cyrus was also criticized when she said that Sex and the City is her favorite show. But sources that know the family are saying that Miley is only allowed to watch a “sanitized” version of SATC.

“The show she watches is completely sanitized. She watches it on TBS,” says a source close to Cyrus. (TBS airs an edited-for-TV version of the iconic series.) “[Miley’s mom] Tish doesn’t allow HBO in the house. They only have basic cable.”

But even if they edit it for TV, unless they take out some major story lines, a lot of the main plots are about sex! I don’t really see how they could sanitize that…

Is 15 too young to be watching SATC or is it really not a big deal at all?

Stop the press, Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad actually agree on something! Both have similar opinions over the whole Miley Cyrus scandal.

Heidi said,

“I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun. [She]’s exploring herself.”

While Lauren gave a more in depth answer,

“I found it a bit silly. I thought she looked beautiful in the pictures. I didn’t find it that inappropriate. Being young and in the spotlight “is difficult. It’s a lot of pressure on her since she is a role model, but I think she’s doing a good job.”

And of course, Spencer Pratt had to give his two cents,

“I didn’t think it was that bad. Supposedly, she’s wearing a top underneath. It’s artistic.”

This whole thing is just not going to die. Reporters are going to keep asking every celeb who has ever heard of Miley to give an opinion and the blogs are just going to keep reporting on it :)  But, anyways, let’s move on to another subject.

Who watched The Hills last night?   I thought it was kind of a boring episode.  Yeah, we get it…Spencer and Heidi don’t want Stephanie to hang out with Lauren…big deal.  But does anyone else feel bad for Audrina?  It seems like now that LO and Lauren live together they just keep ganging up on her!

According to a Disney exec, the company has pulled Miley Cyrus from all public appearances and events until the Vanity Fair picture scandal has quieted down.

“You won’t be seeing her for a while. The company is keeping her away from events … They’re trying to keep her contained.”
