Fact Or Fiction: Johnny Depp To Pay Nicolas Cage's Debts
It's being rumored that Johnny Depp has come to Nicolas Cage's rescue. Reportedly, Johnny said that he'll give Nic “whatever he needs” to help him with his money problems.
Johnny called Nic and basically told him not to worry and he’d help him and sort everything out,” says a friend.
“Johnny feels he owes his career to Nic and now wants to repay him – if Nic agrees.”
The friend adds: “Johnny has never forgotten what Nic did for him.”
As you might recall, Nicolas was the one who got Johnny into acting when he was a struggling musician and it led to his first role in 'A Nightmare On Elm Street'. The females of the world thank you, Nic Cage.
Can you imagine telling your significant other that you are spending $7 million to help out a friend? lol Maybe to them $7 million is like borrowing 20 bucks to your kid brother. Do you think this story is true?

Trailer For Nicolas Cage's New Superhero Comedy
Variety posted the first trailer for the superhero comedy, 'Kick-Ass', starring Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad, Role Models). From the IMDB lineup, it looks like Nicolas must be playing a father to one of the "superheroes". Here's the plot of the movie:
Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
The movie's scheduled release date is April 16, 2010.

Nicolas Cage On The Set Of 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'
Nicolas Cage was spotted on the set of the new film 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' in New York City Tuesday afternoon. The actor took a break to have some pizza before going back to work.
'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' is a drama/fantasy about a sorcerer leaves his workshop in the hands of his apprentice, who gets
into trouble when the broomstick he's tasked to do his chores for him
somehow develops a mind of its own.
Sounds a bit like an adult version of Fantasia! I'm excited to see how the film will turn out.

Celebrities At The Welcome To Gulu Exhibition
This post is so timely!!! I just spent the last three days re-watching the X-Men series and falling in love with Famke Janssen all over again. At the end of last night's movie, I went on and on about how Famke doesn't work as much as I would like her to until my husband finally told me to let it go.
This morning I wake up to find her FINALLY attending a public event. Famke stays VERY low key. We typically only get a photo of her when she is walking her dog. Never shopping, never on the red carpet... under the radar as happy as can be.
Thank goodness for last night's event!
Nicolas Cage, Alec Baldwin, Famke Janssen along with 'The View' co-host Joy Behar all came out to view the 'Welcome to Gulu' exhibition held at United Nations in New York last night. I think one of the perks to being a celebrity is the chance to be able to go to all these wonderful art openings, Broadway plays, and even The White House Correspondents Dinner. What a history to share with your children!
If you were somehow able to attend any one event on opening night which would it be? I definitely wouldn't mind the Met Gala!

Nicolas Cage and Ginnifer Goodwin smiled and signed autographs before heading into the studio to appear on "The Late Show with David Letterman" yesterday in New York. Ginnifer is such a beautiful woman and I'm really loving the simple black dress and tights with the grey pumps. How about you guys?
On the Nic Cage fron,t anybody who's a fan will be happy to know he's scheduled for 7 films! SEVEN! That man is one of the busiest in Hollywood.

Kelly Ripa & Nicolas Cage Leaving ABC
Kelly Ripa left the ABC studios in New York looking adorable and fit (look at those arms!) in a blue dress and black pumps. I'll always have a soft spot for Kelly and it's nice to see her out and about.
Also spotted leaving the studios was Nicolas Cage looking quite dapper in a grey suit. He was there to appear on "Good Morning America" to promote his new film, "Bangkok Dangerous".
Hollywood men always get the luxury of becoming more desirable as they age. But sometimes, there are exceptions. Do you think Nicolas has aged well? Do you still find him attractive? Have you EVER found him attractive?
