Change Is Coming For The Pussycat Dolls
The Pussycat Dolls need an “evolution” says group member Melody Thornton.
The performers – who have been plagued by rumors they are set to split due to Nicole Scherzinger’s prominence in the band - insist they have no plans to go their separate ways, but do need to make some changes.
Melody Thornton said in an Australian interview:
"It's good news for our fans. I don't think we're breaking up any time soon. As long as this thing is moving, we're all still here. The reviews say a lot about the need for an evolution within the Pussycat Dolls.
"Nicole's always had extra things going on as opposed to the rest of us, but we have aspirations as well. It's definitely a huge misconception that we are just chilling and happy to just be members of the group."
One person who could be brought in to freshen up the line-up is Lady Gaga – who has been opening for the ‘Don’t Cha’ stars on their current tour – after Melody spoke of her admiration for her.
"Lady GaGa is bringing something new and fresh. I think she's amazing."
It was previously claimed that Nicole is set to announce she is quitting the group at the end of their tour in a bid to focus on her solo career.
Her plans became apparent after the group's version of 'Jai Ho' was released under the name Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.
On their tour, Nicole performs their latest song 'Hush Hush' on her own while the other girls are off stage. That can't be good for group morale!

summer.
The 'Pussycat Dolls' singer is ready to settle down with the Formula One
racing driver and wants her bandmates to be involved in the wedding.
"Would I get married? For sure and, yeah, the Dolls can be the
bridesmaids. But I have to get engaged first. Late July is looking good."Marriage is a seal of love. On my solo album I have sung about how much I
love that and what the whole process would mean to me. Who needs a reason to
seal their love?"
I'm pretty sure she was being sarcastic with this answer. Reporters do know how to place someone on the spot. Asking someone if they would ever marry can be a bit uncomfortable... especially if they've been dating for a long time and no proposal has come.

Beyonce Knowles was photographed arriving at the JFK Airport in an all black outfit this past weekend smiling and even posing for a picture with a fan. Of course Beyonce has a lot to smile about since her movie 'Obsessed' was #1 this weekend at the box office bringing in a nice $28 million. Anyone watch it? Was it any good?
Also at the airport (LAX) this weekend was Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger looking cool and casual in a denim mini and over-sized sun hat. I'm definitely digging her California cool vibe though mini's always make me nervous. Sitting can be dangerous! :)

Nicole Scherzinger Talks About The Circus Tour And Leaving The Pussycat Dolls
Nicole Scherzinger really opened up during her most recent interview with PR.com about her future plans for a single album and what life is like while on tour with Britney Spears. Remember that little rumor about Nicole being afraid to challenge Brit Brit to a dance off? She addressed that one too. :)
Tell me how The Pussycat Dolls ended up getting on the Britney Spears Circus tour.
We just have really dope people and
she’s got dope people, and they thought it was a really genius idea to
put us together. It’s like the biggest tour this year. It’s so awesome
for us to be able to have the opportunity to be here on tour with
Britney.
Tell me about The Pussycat Dolls on tour. What can fans expect during shows?
The Pussycat Dolls on stage are pretty fierce! We’re a full live show. We’re working and you
got to get up and work. We’re all about connecting with the audience
and having a good time. It’s crazy, live singing and crazy, live
dancing full out, full throttle and a lot of stamina and energy. It’s
very interactive and undeniable. We make you get up on your feet. In
the end, I don’t care who you are, hopefully we’ve won you over (laughs).
I heard that you said you’d be afraid to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off.
I was doing an interview the other
day and they were like, “Would you challenge Britney Spears to a
dance-off?” And I was like, “No! I’m not going to challenge Britney
Spears to a dance-off!” And then I read everywhere saying I’m afraid to
challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off. I’m a cool chick, man. I’m not
going to challenge Britney Spears to a dance-off. I’m on tour with her!
We can dance together (laughs).
Do you interact with Britney backstage? At one point you said you hadn’t seen or spoken to her.
It’s busy and these stadiums and
venues are huge, so you’re in two different sides of the arena. Then
you go and you perform, and then you head off to the next city. I think
the girls have seen her a couple times, but I’m always in and out.
We’re both so busy.
What projects are next for The Pussycat Dolls when the Circus tour wraps up?
We’re just going back on our own
tour, “Doll Domination,” all throughout Australia and Asia, and Lady
Gaga is coming out with us.
The Pussycat Dolls have collaborated with a lot of different artists in the past. Who are you collaborating with next?
I’m going to start working on my solo
album again, and still working on The Dolls as well. I want to
collaborate with Will.i.am and The Black Eyed Peas, and Lady Gaga,
that’s my girl who we’re going to be on tour with anyway. A.R. Rehmen,
we did “Jai Ho” together and he’s an unbelievable producer, and
Timbaland.

Nicole Scherzinger To Record Album With Lewis Hamilton?
Uh oh! Did Nicole Scherzinger turn Lewis Hamilton into a monster? Seems like Nicole's longtime boyfriend has been bit by the singing bug. The Pussycat Dolls singer says she will most likely record a duet with her Formula One World Champion
racing driver boyfriend.
"He thinks he can sing - I think that's my fault! We will probably
end up in the studio together. That will be great.
"He knows the words to ‘Don't Cha’ and is a big Pussycat Dolls fan so
singing together will be so much fun."
Can't wait to hear it!
The 30-year-old star says the duet might be good for their relationship becuause it would force the two to spend more time together. Their schedules have them at different places more times than not.
"It's so hard sometimes. We are both in different places, but he
likes to surprise me and turn up at shows which is so sweet.
"I do love him and feel very lucky to have found him. He is totally
supportive of me as I am of his career."
Nicole sounds like she is in a great place.
