Amanda Peet was spotted on the set of her new movie the Untitled Nicole Holofcener Project filming in West Village. Nicole Holofcener wrote and directed Friends With Money which I really enjoyed, so I have high hopes for this film. The film is about the lives and relationships between the residents of a New York apartment building. Sounds very interesting!
Sarah Michelle Gellar Filming 'Veronika Decides To Die'
Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted rowing a
boat while wearing an angelic white dress. Sarah is filming scenes at
Rockland Lake State Park for her upcoming film "Veronika Decides To Die." In
the film, Gellar is diagnosed by doctors that she has only five days to
live. Cannot WAIT to see this one.

Sandra Bullock On The Set of All About Steve
Sandra Bullock was photographed on the set of her new movie All About Steve. She's added Producer to her list of credits with this one. Isn't that always the way? Eventually, it seems that all celebrities like to go behind the camera once they've really made it in Hollywood. Not only is she pulling double duty on this film, but she does it with a silly face and red pleather boots. Talk about dedication. :)

I Dream Of Jeannie Coming To The Big Screen
How VERY exciting!! I used to LOVE I Dream of Jeannie growing up! The script is currently getting fine tuned and casting is in beginning stages. Guess who is rumored to play Jeannie? Jessica Alba! Does that make sense? Call me batty... but I think Jessica Simp... oh I can't bring myself to say it. Who would you want to play the lead role in this upcoming movie?
Update: OOOH! I change my mind! After reading Kat P's comment below, I would love to see Amy Adams take on this role!! Good call. :)
Jason Priestley Is Coming Back To 90210
Jason Priestley will be coming back to 90210, only this time he'll be behind the camera! He recently said he wants to direct a couple episodes of the spinoff.
"I think that's where I'll be most beneficial."
As for the new series' overall prospects, he ventures, "I'm sure it'll
be great."
Someone needs to convince that man to get in FRONT of the camera again so we can all drool. :)
Dr. Drew Criticizes Tom Cruise, Tom Strikes Back
More Scientology criticizing in the media...Dr. Drew Pinsky called it cult like and speculated on why Tom Cruise joined the religion. In return, Tom's lawyer fired back and compared Dr. Drew to the Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.
Dr. Drew said,
"A lot of people in the public eye who behave strangely have mental
illness we can learn from, and much of it is based on childhood trauma,
without a doubt. Take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be
drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me,
that's a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect
in childhood - maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect."
And Tom's lawyer responded saying that Dr. Drew is an "unqualified television performer who is obviously just looking for
notoriety," adding,
"The last time we heard garbage like this was from
Joseph Goebbels."
Dr. Drew isn't unqualified though...he does have an actual medical degree, practices and teaches psychiatry.
Regardless of the criticism, is it ever ok to compare someone to a Nazi?!?!? Then again, was it ok for Dr. Drew to call Scientology a cult?

Minnie Driver and Uma Thurman were photographed on the set of their movie, Motherhood, in West Village. Even while pregnant, Minnie is working hard! Good thing this is a movie about being mom, so there's no need to try and hide that belly. :)
