Fashion-Crazed Woman Behind Paris Hilton & Lindsay Lohan Thefts
Now this might be taking a love of fashion just a bit too far, right? A 19 year old woman was arrested as part of a sting operation in connection with the thefts at the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and Orlando Bloom. Rachel J. Lee, who is described as having "an obsession with celebrity fashion", and several other women found the stars' addresses by using the internet and even those Hollywood Star maps. From there, they figured out when the stars wouldn't be home based on their appearance schedules! Now that's downright creepy.
Lee, an alumni of Indian Hills High School in the upscale neighborhood of Calabasas – and a classmate of fellow suspect Nicholas Prugo, 18, who has been formally charged with the Lohan and Patridge burglaries – could not be reached for comment.
Reportedly, the reason behind Orlando Bloom being a target was a hope to get their hands on Miranda Kerr's belongings. Also, the article notes that there isn't any word so far if these women are connected to the burglaries at the homes of Hayden Panettiere and Rachel Bilson.
All of the young women arrested were only 18 and 19 years old! I love fashion as much as the next girl but this is really obsessed to the point of crazy. Maybe Kourtney Kardashian and her mom should hold off on accusations that they think it was a member of the reality show crew who robbed her home until these women are investigated further!

Orlando Bloom Has Been Named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
Orlando Bloom has been appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. The Hollywood actor was given the title today by the United Nations Children's Fund in recognition of his work and commitment to the rights of children around the world.
“I look forward to working with UNICEF as they continue to make the world a better place for children.
"UNICEF doesn't just deliver humanitarian aid, which is what they are known for all over the world. They also educate and provide tools which help women and children face challenges specific to their own lives. I responded to how UNICEF works as much as I did to the work itself. I look forward to learning more and to supporting UNICEF anyway I can.”
The 32-year-old actor has worked with the organization since 2007, when he traveled with them to visit schools in poor areas of Nepal. He returned to the area in 2008 to monitor what work was being done to improve the cleanliness of drinking water in the region.
Orlando joins a host of other celebrities in his new role, including soccer star David Beckham, singer Shakira, actor Sir Roger Moore and actresses Mia Farrow and Vanessa Redgrave.

Happy Burberry Day! Burberry recently announced
that Thursday, May 28, 2009 has been declared Burberry Day in New York
City. The proclamation was made by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Wednesday.
To celebrate Burberry Day and the recent move to new headquarters on Madison Avenue,
they held an exclusive party and switched on the
Burberry lights in NYC. Guests included Blake Lively, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy and Orlando Bloom and Helena Christensen.
Sounds like quite a party : )

Orlando Bloom Talks About His Latest Role
Orlando Bloom talked to Entertainment Tonight about his latest movie, 'Main Street.' He is a small-town police officer who, along with everyone else in the town, has to deal with the arrival of a stranger (Colin Firth) who stores hazardous waste in a local warehouse.
'I like these kinds of movies; I enjoy going to see a slice of life, the
way [these] kind of people live,' says Orlando. 'I like the idea of
playing a cop; kind of thinking about how a cop goes about his daily
life and what he comes up against.''They've asked me to come over and take a look, and to me it's a bit
like I'm dealing with the cat in the tree issue,' explains Orlando. 'And then I come in and I see all of these canisters laid out; they
look pretty ominous.' "
Orlando even had to learn a southern drawl for the part. I'm curious to hear that alone ;)
