Helen Mirren, Christie Brinkely, and Molly Sims arrived to the opening night of The Metropolitan Opera wearing mermaid style gowns though each had a different take on the trend. Mermaid style is SO IN this season. I never thought twice about the style until my best friend got married in onelast year. Now, since it's on my radar, I don't go a day without finding a set which includes a woman in this type of gown.

The always fabulous Parker Posey also attended the event , but choose a completely different style. Does it work?

Indie film queen Parker Posey was all smiles and good cheer as she premiered her new movie, "Broken English" at the 34th Deauville Film Festival in Deauville, France last night. I adore Parker, her name, smile, and even her voice. I mean... talk about a girl crush! It's dangerous!

But what do you think about the outfit she chose for the premiere?

Indie film queen, Parker Posey and her adorable dog were photographed walking around NYC yesterday with a friend. Besides the fact that Parker is incredibly talented and beautiful, I envy her name. I know it sounds odd, but don't you think Parker Posey is one of the best names in Hollywood? Or ever?

In this week's issue, OK Magazine is reporting that Keanu Reeves and Parker Posey are officially dating. If I can't have him, I am SOOOOO happy that Parker is getting a chance. I LA LA LA LOVE her! I wish she did more in big budget films. Anyway, the two were spotted in L.A. hotel the Chateau Marmont getting cozy on February 25th.

"They were sharing a seat and sitting very, very close," the source tells OK!. "It was probably the oddest couple I've ever seen."

TMZ just got hold of a memo that went out to anyone who is involved in Simple Life productions. They were putting together a "Best Wishes" card and needed to warn the staff to be nice. Stay Strong Paris (because my boss says so)!!
