New Beatles Song To Be Released!

A new Beatles song is to be released.
‘Now And Then’ – which was composed by John Lennon in 1978 and later worked on by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr when they reunited to work on the Beatles Anthology project in 1995 – never got released, but McCartney has been adding to it and is now keen for fans to hear the track.
A source said:
“The Beatles song ‘Now And Then’ is finished. All four Beatles are on the track. The original Beatles reunion version from 1995 was embellished with numerous sessions over the last two years by Paul McCartney.
“He wants the song to come out very badly.”
As well as featuring Lennon – who was shot dead in 1980 – and McCartney on vocals, Harrison, who passed away in 2001, also sings backing vocals and plays guitar.
If the track does get a release it will be the first new Beatles song to come out since 1996’s ’Real Love’, which was composed by Lennon and later re-recorded by McCartney, Harrison and Starr with Lennon’s original vocal part.
How exciting is this for fans?! I hope it happens.
Paul McCartney Getting Married Again?
Paul McCartney isn't letting his horrible divorce settlement battle with ex-wife, Heather Mills, scare him from getting married again. Supposedly, the Beatle is thinking about proposing to Long Island woman, Nancy Shevell, and he already has Stella McCartney's blessing!
Right now the couple is road tripping through the U.S. so keep your eye out. They might just be stopping somewhere near you. :)
Heather Mills Did WHAT?!?
This is one of those things that you read and then think, "There's no way this can be true!!!"
The British press is reporting that Heather Mills dumped water all over Paul McCartney's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton's head. She was so mad about the settlement that she just couldn't contain herself.
"[Heather] was so angry, she tipped a glass of water over Fiona Shackleton's head, leaving her with soaking wet hair," one insider told the paper. "Everyone was stunned. That kind of behavior is just not acceptable."
When people later asked Heather about the incident, all she would say is that Fiona Shackleton had "been baptized." The above picture is a before of Fiona arriving to court and after, leaving court with wet hair. I have to say that if I hadn't seen the pictures I probably would not have believed this story. Heather Mills Will Receive $48 Million In Divorce Settlement
Well, hopefully this will keep both parties happy and we'll stop hearing about it. Heather Mills is set to receive $48 million in the divorce settlement with Paul McCartney. Aside from that chunk of change Paul will also pay for his daughter, Beatrice's school and nanny fees, plus $70,000 a year in child support. Paul's fortune is estimated to be about $1.6 billion.
I know in the U.K. Heather isn't very popular with the public at all. Here in the U.S. we just don't follow her as much. But, what do you think about the divorce settlement? Is it fair to both Heather and Paul?

Only $144 Million?
Wow wow wow. Sir Paul McCartney's and Heather Mills' divorce is close to being settled and the rumored final tally is for Heather to receive a lump sum of $31 million and a yearly payment of $8 million until their four year old daughter Beatrice turns 18. So a total of $144 mil!
The agreement is being seen as a happy outcome, financially at least, for both parties. Sir Paul is paying a smaller lump sum than Miss Mills feels she deserves. But she will still end up with a very large total for someone whose marriage broke up after only four years.
Smaller than she deserves? I cannot even imagine having that much money, let alone receiving it as a divorce settlement. Heck I could live quite comfortably for half that! I do hope they settle amiably. :)
All You Need Is Veggies?
Vegetarian Paul McCartney wants to help stop global warming through vegetables! The Uk's Mirror is reporting that Sir Paul made the following earth saving statement after the Live Earth concert performances in London last weekend.
"Livestock farming is one of the biggest destroyers of the planet.
"When you see the Amazon being cut down for hamburger cattle, that's pretty obvious."
I must say that Paul is one of those celebrities that walks the walk when it comes to what he believes. But what do you think about giving up a tasty burger for the sake of global warming?
