This is one of those things that you read and then think, "There's no way this can be true!!!"The British press is reporting that Heather Mills dumped water all over Paul McCartney's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton's head. She was so mad about the settlement that she just couldn't contain herself.

"[Heather] was so angry, she tipped a glass of water over Fiona Shackleton's head, leaving her with soaking wet hair," one insider told the paper. "Everyone was stunned. That kind of behavior is just not acceptable."

When people later asked Heather about the incident, all she would say is that Fiona Shackleton had "been baptized." The above picture is a before of Fiona arriving to court and after, leaving court with wet hair. I have to say that if I hadn't seen the pictures I probably would not have believed this story. Well, hopefully this will keep both parties happy and we'll stop hearing about it.  Heather Mills is set to receive $48 million in the divorce settlement with Paul McCartney.  Aside from that chunk of change Paul will also pay for his daughter, Beatrice's school and nanny fees, plus $70,000 a year in child support.  Paul's fortune is estimated to be about $1.6 billion.
I know in the U.K. Heather isn't very popular with the public at all. Here in the U.S. we just don't follow her as much.  But, what do you think about the divorce settlement?  Is it fair to both Heather and Paul?

Wow wow wow. Sir Paul McCartney's and Heather Mills' divorce is close to being settled and the rumored final tally is for Heather to receive a lump sum of $31 million and a yearly payment of $8 million until their four year old daughter Beatrice turns 18. So a total of $144 mil!

The agreement is being seen as a happy outcome, financially at least, for both parties. Sir Paul is paying a smaller lump sum than Miss Mills feels she deserves. But she will still end up with a very large total for someone whose marriage broke up after only four years.

Smaller than she deserves? I cannot even imagine having that much money, let alone receiving it as a divorce settlement. Heck I could live quite comfortably for half that! I do hope they settle amiably. :)

Vegetarian Paul McCartney wants to help stop global warming through vegetables! The Uk's Mirror is reporting that Sir Paul made the following earth saving statement after the Live Earth concert performances in London last weekend.

"Livestock farming is one of the biggest destroyers of the planet.
"When you see the Amazon being cut down for hamburger cattle, that's pretty obvious."

I must say that Paul is one of those celebrities that walks the walk when it comes to what he believes. But what do you think about giving up a tasty burger for the sake of global warming?

Paul McCartney has said that his break up with Heather Mills had brought him closer to his three eldest children. UK newspapers are also claiming that Paul has made nice with Heather for the sake of their daughter, Beatrice.  I guess he is a 'glass is half full' kinda guy.

"I'm going through great struggles, but I'm feeling pretty good. "I have a lot of good support, particularly from my family. In difficult moments like this, it's when a loving family shines through. There is a tunnel and there is a light and I will get there. In the meantime I really enjoy my work and my family. I see people worse off than me, so I can put it in perspective."

It looks like Sir Paul McCartney has moved on with an heiress. Her name is Sabrina Guinness and her claim to fame (besides her last name) is dating Prince Charles before he married Diana. Who else has she dated? Mick Jagger, Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas and Rod Stewart - this girl gets around! :)

Um... I don't know much... but I KNOW that Paul McCartney never choked Heather Mills. In recent court documents, Heather is claiming that Paul (are you ready for this):

• stopped her from breastfeeding their baby during their marriage

This cannot be true! There is no PRENUP! She is entitled to half! Why on Earth would Heather Mills settle for $20 million bucks when she can have $200 million instead? Let's give this story a few days before we start jumping to conclusions.

Heather Mills-McCartney will allegedly settle for a £10 million divorce pay-out. The ex-model, who split from Sir Paul McCartney in May after four years of marriage, wants a quick, painless settlement - despite the fact she reportedly could have battled for as much as £200 million. A friend of Heather's told Britain's The People newspaper: "Heather is satisfied with the £10 million deal being discussed.
"She was only too aware that she could have gone into battle for a lot more. But she is still devastated over the break-up and is not in any mood for a bitter legal row." The friend added: "She has no intention of putting up a fight. She is far too upset to even think about going down that road." Heather also hopes to keep the split amicable for the sake of the couple's two-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
The pal revealed: "Heather and Paul have been in regular contact since they split up in May. "They have constantly reminded each other that Bea should always remain their number one priority throughout the finalisation of their divorce." (source)
