Paula Deen Assaulted With A Ham

Food Network cook Paula Deen was in Atlanta yesterday for the annual Hosea Feed the Homeless charity event. They were loading hams in the truck when someone tossed one that hit her in the face!
Luckily, Paula had a good sense of humor about it afterwards.
"I think it might have hit maybe just right where, I thought it busted my lip, but it didn't," said Deen.
While Deen managed to escape visible injury, she did say the area around her nose hurt.
"I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect said Deen through laughter. "Ran head on to a hog."
Then Paula took to twitter to declare:
I haven't met the ham that could stop me yet! Y'all it's just the best feeling to help others

Kate Gosselin Confirms Talk Show Possibility

Kate Gosselin spoke at the Southern Women's Show in Charlotte this weekend and confirmed that a talk show might be in the works!
"I've been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?"
She joined Paula Deen in the taping of the pilot. According to UsMagazine other women being considered for the show are: comedian Julie Gold, Rene Syler and Lee Woodruff.
It sounds like this might be a panel of women and not just Kate's own show. Would you watch a talk show featuring Kate? Do you think she'd make an interesting co-host? I guess she does have a bit of experience under her belt now that she's done a few episodes on The View.

Hey Miss Paula Deen!

There isn't another chef I want to meet more than Miss Paula Deen. I simply adore her. She's visiting NY with the love of her life, Michael Groover.
Have you ever had a personal connection with a celeb even though it's obviously just in your head? When I was pregnant with my first child, I was placed on bedrest at about 20 weeks. I was very depressed because I was filled with fear and anxiety over the situation.
Well, I used to watch Paula Deen every single day on the Food Network, and for that half hour I swear to you she would warm my heart. It was the only moment in my day when I would crack a grin or stop thinking about the worst case scenario until my husband came home to be with me. I loved her and will never forget how she got me through that hard time. Naturally, she has no idea about any of this. But I will always be forever grateful.
Anyone in the mood for a stick of butter?
