Penelope Cruz Filmed Guest Spot For Sex And The City
Penelope Cruz has filmed a cameo appearance for the ‘Sex and the City’ sequel. The ‘Broken Embraces’ reportedly flew to New York to shoot a small scene which sees her playing herself on the red carpet.
According to America’s OK! magazine, Penelope is not the only star shooting a guest role in the coming weeks.

The Ladies Of 'Nine' Dish To Vogue
Have you heard about the musical 'Nine'? It has quite the cast, including: Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, and Penelope Cruz. They talked to Vogue for the November issue (although the movie's release date was recently moved to Christmas Day).
Daniel's character, Guido, is the main character of 'Nine,' which is about a director who is searching for the perfect lead in his movie while trying to control the women in his life. The actresses were the ones interviewed by Vogue. Here are some snippets from the interview:
Nicole talked about acting:
"I had no desire to work after I had my daughter, but to lure me back, this movie was the only way."
Marion on doing musicals:
"It's been my dream to do an American musical. When I was a child, Annie was my favorite. I just never thought I would get to do it."
Penelope on balancing work and everything else in her life:
"I've been working since the age of seventeen, and I really haven't stopped. I want to balance it a little more. Instead of making three or four movies a year, I will do one."
And Kate on singing and dancing:
"I spent most of my childhood singing and dancing and just never had the chance to do it professionally. So when I got the chance to work with Rob [Marshall, the director], I was so excited, I was out of my mind."

Report: Penelope Cruz Is Engaged
Penelope Cruz is engaged. The 35-year-old actress and her Spanish actor boyfriend Javier Bardem have told friends they are planning to tie the knot in the near future. A source told the New York Daily News newspaper:
“They're telling friends they will get married.”
No further details of the engagement or nuptials have been released, and the couple’s representatives have not confirmed the reports. However, those close to the pair have denied claims they are expecting a baby.
Speculation Penelope was expecting began swirling in the summer, with rumors reaching fever pitch after the pair were seen leaving an obstetrician’s clinic in Madrid last month. A pal explained:
“They say the pregnancy stories aren't true.”
We haven't heard anything from Penelope's rep, so I can't confirm the story. Do you think the actress is planning to marry Javier?
Penelope Cruz Is A “Worrier”
Penelope Cruz is a “worrier”. Despite having a great job and dating the always handsome Javier Bardem, the Spanish actress has to be busy all the time or she panics about her life.
She explained in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine:
“I’ve always been a worrier. Since I was a little girl I’ve always felt that if I had a moment of peace I’d wonder, ‘Are you sure you can afford to feel like this?’ ”
Penelope, 35, also revealed she learned to act during her teenage years which were spent watching women being pampered in a beauty salon in her hometown of Alcobendas, Spain.
“It was my first acting school. I would pretend to be doing my homework, but I was really observing the women. I found their behavior mesmerizing - what they were hiding, how they left feeling a little different after they’d been helped to become a little more like whom they wanted to look like. They treated the place a little bit like a psychologist’s office. They would share all their secrets.”

Penelope Cruz says shooting a movie is like going on a first date. The ‘Broken Embraces’ actress gets very nervous before starting a new film and gets the same feelings she has when a man takes her out.
“In terms of the work, it always seems like it’s a first date. I mean, every time I go to the movie set and start a project, I feel the same feeling – the butterflies in the stomach, not having control over it – because acting is like that. That’s the beauty of it. You can always keep learning. There’s always more.”
Penelope also feels privileged to have had such a successful acting career.
“I’ve been very fortunate to be able to make a living out of acting since I was 17. Very, very fortunate, and I’m aware of it.

Penelope Cruz Is Not Pregnant
And there you have it! Internet rumor has officially been squashed. Penelope Cruz was asked once again whether or not she was carrying a child and denied - denied - denied.
"I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant.' And I say, 'No, I'm not, so return the presents,'" she told USA Today. "It's amazing."
You get one person claiming they see a bump and then you begin to notice something. The next thing you know, major magazines are running the story on their cover! LOL - the life of a celebrity.
