Penelope Cruz Says Making A Movie Is Like Going On A First Date
Penelope Cruz says shooting a movie is like going on a first date. The ‘Broken Embraces’ actress gets very nervous before starting a new film and gets the same feelings she has when a man takes her out.
“In terms of the work, it always seems like it’s a first date. I mean, every time I go to the movie set and start a project, I feel the same feeling – the butterflies in the stomach, not having control over it – because acting is like that. That’s the beauty of it. You can always keep learning. There’s always more.”
Penelope also feels privileged to have had such a successful acting career.
“I’ve been very fortunate to be able to make a living out of acting since I was 17. Very, very fortunate, and I’m aware of it.

Penelope Cruz Is Not Pregnant
And there you have it! Internet rumor has officially been squashed. Penelope Cruz was asked once again whether or not she was carrying a child and denied - denied - denied.
"I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant.' And I say, 'No, I'm not, so return the presents,'" she told USA Today. "It's amazing."
You get one person claiming they see a bump and then you begin to notice something. The next thing you know, major magazines are running the story on their cover! LOL - the life of a celebrity.

Penelope Cruz At The Berlin Premiere Of 'The Broken Embraces'
Penelope Cruz attended the premiere of 'The Broken Embraces' in Berlin, Germany. The actress looked lovely in a forest green custom Herve L. Leroux gown. Doesn't she look amazing?? Proving to have a big heart as well, she signed autographs for fans before proceeding down the red carpet.
Also in an attendance was director of the film, Pedro Almodovar, whose muse must be Penelope because this is the fifth film he's put her in. Lucky girl, she'll never have to worry about getting work as an actress : )

Angelina Jolie Dropped From Vanity Fair's Best Dressed List
This doesn't sound right for an actress whose fashion sense is admired enough that her stylist had designer dresses stolen the night before she was scheduled to try them on for a fitting! Yet, Vanity Fair has done it: they dropped Angelina Jolie off their annual Best Dressed List.
Brad Pitt made the list for the third consecutive year, although for the past two years he was listed in the "couples category" with Angelina.
Some people will make their debut on the list: Kelly Ripa, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, and Alicia Keys are on it for the first time.
The list will be released in the September issue of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands August 11.

Penelope Cruz and Pedro Almodovar were spotted arriving at Tegel Airport in Germany after a flight from London, making their way to Hotel de Rome. The two were in London for the British premiere of Pedro's latest film, 'Broken Embraces', starring Penelope.
Do you like watching foreign films? Or are the subtitles too distracting? I went through a pretty large period of my life when I was obsessed with them, but have since given the movies up.
