Penelope Cruz Lost Her Suit Case
Remember yesterday when we commented on the red suit Penelope Cruz wore to the 'Broken Embraces' premiere in London? Well, it turns out the only reason why she wore the outfit is because her suitcase was lost on her way to the UK.
Since she had no clothes, the actress had to wear the stunning red Bottega Veneta trouser suit because it was the only thing she brought on the flight with her!
The movie’s director Pedro Almodovar joked:
“I think someone took it. I think it was taken by someone with a fetish!”
Despite the wardrobe setback, Penelope was delighted to be in the UK but admitted she has difficulty coping with the unpredictable climate.
The 35-year-old screen beauty confessed she had even prayed for the day to stay dry ahead of the film’s open air screening.
Speaking at London’s Somerset House, Penelope told BANG Showbiz:
"I love London... but I have difficulties with the rainy weather.
“I have decided it is not going to rain, I was here for many months this year making a movie and I love London, but I have trouble with grey weather so I said, ‘No, please, not today.’ So hopefully it's going to stay like this.”
If only we all had that kind of power over the weather! LOL!

Penleop Cruz looked loved in her all red suit as she attended the UK film premiere of 'Broken Embraces' held at Somerset House in the UK. Funny how she is almost matching the carpet though right?
Harry Caine, a blind writer, reaches this moment in time when he has to heal his wounds from 14 years back. He was then still known by his real name, Mateo Blanco, and directing his last movie.

Penelope Cruz Definitely Wants Kids, Not So Sure On Marriage
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have been dating for a while now...long enough that she can talk marriage and kids and he won't run screaming in the opposite direction, haha! :P But, Penelope says while she's sold on the idea of children, she's not quite convinced yet about tying the knot.
"I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want
to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love
and children."
All she would say about Javier is,
"He's a wonderful man, a great actor."
And on a work related note, Penelope says she never stops worrying.
"Every time I make a film, I feel like it's my first time ... I always
think they could fire me. I've ruined my own
happiness and created problems with my friends because of this
tendency. It takes discipline for me to stop worrying."
Poor girl! She's a fabulous actress and I have no doubt that she'll continue getting hired and making movies for a long time to come. Hopefully eventually she'll start to feel confident enough in herself that she can stop worrying.

Penelope Cruz Does What It Takes For A Role
Some celebs seem like they'd rather protect their public image than play an unatttractive character. While others like Charlize Theron ugly up and are rewarded...in her case with an Oscar! Maybe Penelope Cruz is hoping to follow in those footsteps. She says she'll do what it takes for whatever person she has to play.
"If a character needs to look good then you try to find the look for
that character. If it means to look bad then you have to put your ego
away - whatever the character needs. I have no worries about that."
In my opinion, Penelope is hands down one of the most gorgeous women in the industry...so I find it hard to imagine her as ugly no matter what the role!
