Penelope Cruz Won't Be Celebrating Valentine's Day

This sounds like someone's starting to feel a little jaded about love. Penelope Cruz says she definitely won't be celebrating Valentine's Day...this year...or ever.
"I do not like talking about love. It is too revealing.
But I have had so much love in my
life, and I am always open to it. Valentine's Day cards means nothing
to me. I have never sent one - and never had one. I never talk about
romance. I'm afraid of what might come out if I talk."
But, whether or not Penelope is in a relationship, she always has her family close to her heart.
"I like to think I have a proper view of love.
Age does not come into it. I love
older people and I love children. "I have been lucky: love has always
been there. My father and my mother, Eduardo and Encarna, brought me
and my sister, Monica, and brother, Eduardo, to love and appreciate
each other.A close family is very important. It can set you up for life."

Ladies Of The BAFTA's

We had so many celebrity ladies that attended the BAFTA's
in London with each looking truly spectacular. For the most part each
women kept their style pretty classic. My favorite standout was Marisa Tomei because her gown went perfectly with her hair and make up. And of course it doesn't hurt that the woman doesn't age!
Here are the rest of the ladies from the event:
- Kate Winslet
- Penelope Cruz
- Emma Watson
- Thandie Newton
- Kylie Minogue
- Goldie Hawn
- Sharon Stone
- Marisa Tomei
- Freida Pinto
Did you miss Kate's speech for her win??? Here is the text below:
"To be given this award at home, this really means a
great deal to me. "Thank you Bafta, thank you. I want to thank
everybody involved in the making of this film. They all know who they
are and they all deserve a big fat piece of this.
"I want to thank my friends and my family, especially my mum and
dad, who I will not look at right now, otherwise I will burst into
tears."Thank you mum and dad so much for your love and support.
"I want to share this with two producers on this film, I know I'm
not alone when I say I can't believe they're no longer with us, Anthony
Minghella and Sydney Pollack."You are much missed today, and you will be much missed for many years to come, and this is for you. Thank you. Thank you."

Penelope Cruz At The New York Critic's Circle Awards

Classic beauty Penelope Cruz arrived to the 2008 New York Critic's Circle Awards held at the Strata last night in a black lace cocktail dress and nude heels. This woman can do no wrong and always manages to look flawless.
Nude heels have been really popular lately!! Even with jeans and a sweater, celebs are opting for the look more and more. What do you think about the above black dress combo? While I always end up with a colored shoe (to add a pop of color), I think the nude heel elongates the leg.

Love It Or Hate It: Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz hosted the official, 'A Diamond is Forever Unbreakable Kiss Installation' at Madison Square Park in honor of World AIDS Day yesterday. While Penelope is known for her classic style, the actress decided to change things up a bit by wearing this white "shredded" suit and black hat (see thumbnail).
I'm curious if you guys love it or hate it?
