Penn Badgley Admits Dating A Co-Worker May Not Be A Good Idea

Well, I have one (okay, two) things to say about 'Gossip Girl' star Penn Badgley: first, this guy definitely keeps it real, and second, he seems incredibly grounded. In an interview with Men's Health magazine, Penn talked about dating his co-worker, Blake Lively, and his style sense.
"Having a relationship with someone you work with might not always be the smartest move," he says.
"But it's been wonderful to be in a relationship where we can both identify with what the other is experiencing."
I think (hope?) that the fact that Penn realizes the risks involved may help him avoid doing anything harmful to his career! And the same for Blake :)
And as for Penn's sense of style (he actually admits to having one!):
"There's a stigma about looking like you're tying too hard, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try at all. I really think that's a bigger mistake."
Hear, hear! If you want to show that quote to a perhaps, overly casual boyfriend or husband, Penn's interview is November issue of Men's Health, which is called "The Denim Guide."

Blake Lively And Penn Badgley Get Sweet
Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were spotted picking up some sweets at Billy's Bakery in the Chelsea district of New York City on Friday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, Blake made a special appearance the Saks Fifth Avenue retail store in New York City to show her support for shoe designer Guiseppi Zanotti who introduced his Fall 2009 collection.
What Blake is wearing in these pictures is basically my staple wardrobe during the fall. A warm knit sweater, tall boots, and a pair of jeans :) Love it!

Penn Badgley Opens Up About Romance & Relationships

Penn Badgley, who plays Dan on Gossip Girl, opened up for Women's Health magazine's October issue, revealing his thoughts about romance, relationships and which character on Gossip Girl he most identifies with in real life.
The best piece of relationship advice he’s received:
“Passion is number one and trust is number two. You need to start with a passionate connection, and if you can maintain it and cultivate it, that’s most important. Then trust can develop. I have both now, and it’s been an incredible thing.”
The most romantic meal he’s cooked for a woman:
"Earlier this year I went to Thailand and took some cooking classes. I learned how to make classic Thai dishes, which are exotic, spicy and quick and easy to make—and a rare thing to cook for a woman. I made a yellow curry with pineapple. I think pineapple is very sexy. It reminds me of bikinis and the beach.”
Wow! That must earn him some bonus points with the ladies. ;)
The Gossip Girl character he’s most like in real life:
“Nate is too normal, and Chuck is too bad. I understand Dan, even though he’s too nice sometimes. He’s just so earnest that he can’t help but mess up. But in our third season, he’s going to have more fun acting out of character.”
