They are starting to look alike aren’t they? Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are sharing flat iron secrets because I am definitely seeing some resemblance in the way they style the front of their hair. PS, I would LOVE to know how to do that. I still end up looking semi-frizzy after I get through mine.

Here is the happy couple at LAX. Ashlee even stopped to take a picture with some of our troops.

UPDATE: Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is Ashlee’s maid of honor.  When asked by People Magazine,

Ashlee Simpson showed off her beautiful engagement ring alongside fiance Pete Wentz while walking the red carpet for the Bravo Supershow 2008 held at Arena Nurnberg in Germany. Meanwhile, Wentworth Miller stopped and took some pictures with fans at the same event making each and every one of their days. Do you ever wonder if celebrities feel like they have to interact with one another because they happen to be walking the same event? I’m sure the event is timed in a way that both won’t walk at the same time to prolong the whole thing.

I. CAN. NOT. BELIEVE. THIS.  Did they seriously not learn anything from Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey’s mistakes?  I think we all know that putting their private life in the spotlight was a big part of the reason why the original Newlyweds broke up.  Even though Ashlee Simpson’s publicist has denied it, sources are saying that Joe Simpson is really pushing for his youngest daughter to do her own reality show with Pete Wentz.

“He knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect.”

UGH.  I so hope this isn’t true.  Even though I don’t really feel the same sort of affection for Ashlee and Pete that I think a lot of people felt for Jessica and Nick, that doesn’t mean I’m wishing for them to break up before they even get started!  Reality shows are like the kiss of death for new marriages in Hollywood.  Why would they even consider doing this?!?  What do you think? 

Why am I suddenly more attracted to Eric Dane? I don’t even like motorcycles! But yet here I am practically drooling over these new shots of Eric looking for a new means of transportation. He should start hanging out with Brad Pitt. Imagine seeing the two of them riding together on the street? PHEW! Anyway here Eric is visiting Beverly Hills Ducati and test driving an $80,000 dollar motorcycle made by Ecosse Moto Works in Denver Colorado.

Also looking to make a purchase were Jeremy Piven and Pete Wentz. Pete was in the market for a new comic book - or so it seems.

What? Pete Wentz is urging his fans to send money to his grandmother’s nursing home so her friend Daniel can get the money he needs for an organ transplant. I have to be honest here - I think it is great he is using his reach to help someone out. It’s like Oprah’s Big Give all over again. Unfortunately, I didn’t see where to send the money in his quote. “He works in my grandma’s nursing home (and) is just a very quiet, amazing soul. He is diabetic and is in dire need of an organ transplant but can’t afford treatment. The nursing home asked for a couple of signed CDs because they are having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on 4 May, and they hope to raise a couple of hundred dollars, but not much. For some reason this completely bummed me out. That doesn’t really seem like enough for someone who is someone’s dad or brother. I know lots of you don’t have a ton of cash to throw around but I also have met so many of you guys who are just good peeps.”
