Pierce Brosnan Saved Uma Thurman From A Runaway Minivan
While on location filming new movie ‘Percy Jackson’, Pierce Brosnan spotted an out-of-control vehicle speeding down a hill straight towards co-star Uma Thurman.Good thing he has all that Bond experience!! Listen to what a source says the actor did:
“No one was aboard the runaway van as it barrelled towards a grassy area where Uma was relaxing with cast and crew.
Pierce yelled, ‘Get out of the way!’
“He raced after the van, wrenched open the driver’s side door, jumped in and slammed on the brakes.”“Everyone scattered out of harm’s way. Pierce got kudos and hero 007 jokes from Uma. The transportation crew were in trouble for not setting the van’s emergency brake.”
Thank goodness everyone was ok!

Denise Richards and Pierce Brosnan ran into each other during the Sundance Film Festival looking very happy to reconnect. I'm sure that several people are hooking up with old friends while walking up and down Main Street. Pierce Brosnan Wants Theron Instead Of Jolie In The Thomas Crown Affair
Can you IMAGINE having to work with Pierce Brosnan after reading a quote where he tells the press he would rather someone else have your role?
Angelina Jolie is about to be placed in that very situation as Pierce recently told People Magazine that he is upset that Angelina signed on for The Thomas Crown Affair. He much rather work with Charlize Theron.
"Charlize Theron is someone who I’ve always admired. I think she’s someone who has acquitted herself grandly. Nothing against Angelina Jolie. I think she’s a magnificent actress. But Charlize has a poise about her and has an inner strength and femininity which I really like to watch."
This will either make Angelina want to take the role more to prove something to Pierce, or give it up as she really doesn't need the money. We shall see.

Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson At The UK Premiere of, Mama Mia!
Tom Hanks & his wife Rita Wilson looked like Hollywood royalty as they walked the red carpet for the UK Premiere of, Mama Mia! in London yesterday. I adore Tom and it's nice to see him on the red carpet since he normally keeps to himself.
Also in attendance were the stars of the film, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, and Pierce Brosnan. I can't wait to see this movie because it looks like a lot of fun. Anyone else interested? Oh and check out what Colin's wife wore to the event.
