Brad Pitt Is Ready For A 'Basterds' Prequel

Brad Pitt Is Ready For A 'Basterds' Prequel

Brad Pitt has one film project in particular that he is eager to do (you know, just in case nothing else pans out): a prequel to 'Inglourious Basterds' with Quentin Tarantino, according to E! Online.

"Everybody would drop whatever they're doing to go back to work with Quentin," Pitt's Basterds costar Eli Roth told [E! Online] at the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards presented by Movieline.com in Hollywood. "All the time, Brad says, 'Prequel, prequel!' All the 'basterds' would jump on it in a second.

"We have three scenes that we shot in Boston that take place before the war, and Quentin says if he does the prequel, he's going to use them," Roth said. "They're not going to be DVD extras."

"There's a great scene with me and Cloris Leachman," Roth adds. "I go and get her to sign the bat. It's me and the little old Jewish ladies of the neighborhood."

Apparently, this isn't just wishful thinking, either.

"[Quentin] has most of it written, so now it's just a matter of figuring the whole thing out," Roth said. "Quentin's standards are so high that he won't do it unless he feels like he can do it better than the first one."

Did you see the first 'Inglourious Basterds'? Are you ready for a prequel?

Quentin Tarantino Says Another 'Kill Bill' Is In The Works

Quentin Tarantino Says Another 'Kill Bill' Is In The Works

Quentin Tarantino is planning another ‘Kill Bill’ sequel. The director wants Uma Thurman to reprise her role as Beatrix Kiddo – more commonly known as The Bride – for a third time, but warns fans they face a long wait for the third installment in the martial arts franchise.

"The Bride will fight again! I gotta wait a couple years because I wanted 10 years to pass. There are two reasons why. One, I think Uma and I needed a 10-year break cause the first one was so hard. And second, I really love the character. I think she deserves a 10-year release of no fighting and being with her daughter Bebe, just of peace. I put her through a lot in those first two movies, I want her to have a nice, peaceful life for 10 years. I want her to set up her store, and have some peace. But after ten years we'll make her fight again."

Wow, I love how much he loves his character. Quentin actually thought she should virtually be able to spend some time with her daughter.

According to the filmmaker, a release date of 2014 would be likely for the movie. Are you looking forward to seeing "The Bride" fight again?

Quentin Tarantino Is Ready To Take On James Bond

Quentin Tarantino Is Ready To Take On James Bond

And I am so ready to have him do it!!

Quentin Tarantino wants to create a film series to rival James Bond.
The American director is planning to adapt three spy thriller novels by British writer Len Deighton into a movie series which will attract fans of the British secret agent’s on screen adventures.

“One of the things I enjoy musing about doing is the trilogy of Len Deighton books, ‘Berlin Game’, ‘Mexico Set’, and ‘London Match’.

“The story takes place in the Cold War and follows a spy named Bernard Sampson. What is attractive is the really great characters and the wonderful casting.”

The ‘Inglourious Basterds’ filmmaker also revealed he has a list of actors he’d love to work with, including ‘How To Lose Friends and Alienate People’ star Simon Pegg.

Tarantino, 46, added in an interview with Britain’s The Sun newspaper:

“I am a huge fan of Simon Pegg. I also think Kate Winslet is the best actresses that ever lived, so I would be honored to work with her.

“I am also a huge admirer of Anthony Hopkins. I would also love to work with Michael Caine. I can see them appearing in my movies.”

Imagine if Quentin gets his wish? That cast would be unstoppable! Fingers crossed.

Quentin Tarantino Admits He Is A Hoarder

Quentin Tarantino Admits He Is A Hoarder

Uh oh! I've seen these Oprah specials. People who look completely normal while out with friends, and then you get back to their house and it's a pigsty. Quentin Tarantino? Really?

The actor has confessed he is a hoarder. The ‘Inglourious Basterds’ director just never throws things away... ever.

"I’m a bachelor, so literally my place is like a dorm room. A
fraternity house of one. If you walked in the door you would just see lots
of stacks of s**t.

“You could come to my house to visit and bring a copy of a magazine with you
and put it on the counter, and three years later you could come back and
that magazine would still be on that counter.

"I have a problem throwing stuff out.”

The filmmaker also refuses to throw away electronic equipment and can’t
understand why people replace their old devices with modern equivalents.
He added to FHM magazine:

“I lose respect for people who disconnect their
video tape player. If you don’t have a record player, if you don’t have a
vinyl player that you can play, if you don’t have your VCR still connected
to your TV, you go down a little bit in my estimations."

LOL!  Someone has to call TLC on him - don't they also have a bunch of those cleaning show? I would fly across country to attend Quentin's yard sale in a heartbeat!

Quentin Tarantino In A Pair Of High Heels

Quentin Tarantino In A Pair Of High Heels

You can't HELP but love Quentin Tarantino! I mean, check out this photo from his most recent NY Times Style Magazine interview. In case you are wondering, the heels are from Trash and Vaudeville. :)

Sitting at the foot of a bed draped with Diane Kruger, Quentin showed off a much more sensual side than we are used to. Here are a few excerpts from the interview.

When you’re making a film, like this year’s ‘‘Inglourious Basterds,’’ which will premiere at Cannes, is it hard to watch movies?

Maybe it’s just this movie, but it’s become very hard to concentrate on anything but the film I’m making. This was the hardest movie I’ve ever made.

‘‘Inglourious Basterds’’ is a World War II epic that combines historical events with a vivid, pop sensibility. The movie stars, among others, Brad Pitt as an American lieutenant in search of Nazis and Diane Kruger as a German movie star/spy. It’s both authentic and highly theatrical. Did you shoot on soundstages in America or in Europe?

We shot the film in Berlin and a little bit in Paris. I only cast actors who could speak English with their native accents. The Germans have accents, the French are French, and the English are English. During the war, your understanding of German, whether you were a French citizen or you were in a concentration camp, meant the difference between life and death. In Hollywood movies, Germans often have English accents, and I can’t go for that contrivance. The proper accent could be the difference between success and failure.

On this movie, you worked very quickly. Was that partially to have the film ready in time for Cannes?
