Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Visit Rachael Ray
Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott visited The Rachael Ray show and chatted about having another child, Tori’s relationship with her mom Candy and how the couple deals with tabloid rumors.
Tori & Dean on having another child: We have our hands full right now. Stella is nineteen months right now and she‘s into everything so I think we want to take a breath, if I can speak. Well I’m the one that has to do it, so I’m like looking at Dean. You have the fun part!
We would definitely like more kids, but I think right now we’re just focusing on the two, kind of you know getting them out of diapers.
Tori on her relationship with her mom Candy: We’re doing great, were doing great. And it really puts everything into perspective. Family’s the most important and it’s been a great 2010! I’m really happy that the family is together.
Tori & Dean on getting angry about tabloid rumors:
Tori: He gets more stirred up about it than me.
Dean: I get a little more stirred up, I’ve got a bit of a temper. But I’ve learned to deal with that. And I’ve learned so much from T because she’s been in it for so long.
PS: Dean has toilet paper on his arm because the couple is partnered with Cottonelle for the Roll Poll where Americans will vote and decide how they will roll the toilet paper in their home.

Martha Stewart Knocks Rachael Ray's Abilities

Martha Stewart filmed an interview for an upcoming episode of Nightline to talk about rebuilding her brand. Martha had some pretty harsh things to say about Rachael Ray. She goes after Ray's inability to bake and also makes a dig about Rachael's new cookbook.
"Well, to me, she professed that she could -- cannot bake," Stewart says of Ray in the interview, airing Thursday. "She -- just did a new cookbook which is just a re-edit of a lot of her old recipes. She -- and that's not good enough for me."
Ouch. She goes on to pretty much say that hers will be superior:
Stewart says she want to publish something that "is a unique and lasting thing. Something that will really fulfill a need in someone's library." Ray, she says, "is different."
Martha then says that Rachael is more entertainment than teaching:
"more of an entertainer ... with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me. That's not what she's professing to be."
Rachael took the high road and had this to say about Martha's digs:
"Why would it make me mad?" Ray asks. "Her skill set is far beyond mine. That's simply the reality of it."
"that doesn't mean that what I do isn't important too... I don't consider it needling. I really just think she's being honest. She does have a better skill set than I do when it comes to producing a beautiful, perfect, high-quality meal." Says Ray, "I'd rather eat Martha's than mine, too."
I give Rachael credit for not slinging any mud back at her. Do you think you understand what Martha is trying to convey, but think it's coming out a bit wrong? Or do you think she's just being snarky?
Rachael Ray And Martha Stewart Together On Television
Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray will make television history by sharing the same kitchen on the RACHAEL RAY show. On November 12th, Martha and Rachael will shatter rumors about their rift, chat about Martha’s surprise favorite type of music, and learn why her daughter is really a vegan. Plus, tune-in to see if the domestic diva can finally help Rachael craft!
On Martha Using her Expertise in the Grocery Store:
In the grocery store, if someone’s picking up the wrong pineapple, I will not hesitate to tell them that it is the wrong pineapple. I would be pretty pissed if I got home with a pineapple that’s unripe. If they don’t know, I’m going to tell them how to pick a ripe one! I figure that they better learn!
On Martha’s Love for Rap Music:
Oh I like rap! I like rap, we play rap. When you come to the show, you’ll see. You’ll see! Oh yeah. Rap is fabulous, and it’s the liveliest thing for the audience… Rap is big!
On Why Martha’s Daughter is a Vegan:
Well what I think one of the catalysts was, we raised our own livestock and we had these sweet little lambs. And one day I decided Plantagenet was gonna go, and so I served Plantagenet for dinner, and I told my husband and my daughter that the rare pork chops were cooked perfectly in the French style. And Alexis looked at me and said this is not pork this is Plantagenet isn’t it? That was one reason.
Can you IMAGINE shopping for fruit and having Martha come up and correct you? That would be awesome! LOL!!

Nick Lachey Visits Rachael Ray

Are you still wondering where the summer went? I am. But fall is moving into full swing, which means all the shows are starting new seasons. 'The Rachael Ray Show' is no exception, and Rachael is having Nick Lachey as one of her guests.
Here's what Nick had to say about the rumors of a reconciliation between Jessica Simpson and himself:
"When I read they (Jessica & Tony) split up, in my head I said here it comes. I just split up with Vanessa. The timing was just too perfect to resist."
"Right now single life is good, especially in New York."
I guess he and Vanessa Minnillo aren't back together. I thought they were! Maybe they're keeping things quiet for now.
Would Nick do another reality TV show?
"I definitely would… you know I’m not gonna say I wouldn't do reality TV again. I wouldn't do reality TV in my home in my marriage as the focus."
And while he may not be reuniting with Jessica, would he consider a reunion with his old group, 98 Degrees?
"98 degrees, that is one reunion that might actually happen at some point."
You can watch Nick's entire interview this Friday, September 18.
