Rachael Ray’s morning talk show is facing legal action from a former employee who claims he was forced out of his job because he suffered from an eating disorder. Aaron Ferguson, an anorexia, has filed papers at Manhattan’s Supreme Court accusing bosses on Ray’s self-titled show of exhibiting "hostile behavior" and making "vile" comments about him.
Ferguson claims he was forced to quit after being with the show for just under a year because he couldn't take the atmosphere. His lawyer, William H. Kaiser, says,
"The things that were said in front of my client were hurtful, and once they knew he had a problem with it they should have stopped."
Three employees of the Rachael Ray show have been named in the suit, although the star herself is not stated as a defendant.

Rachael Ray made the most of her West Coast trip after flying over to attend the Daytime Emmy Awards. Here she is with her husband (who is always in the background I am noticing) doing some shopping on Robertson Blvd.
By reading the comments left on the last post, I have a feeling not many fans of Rachael Ray read INO. But I posted these anyway because it's such a rarity that this TV personality gets photographed running errands.

We haven't seen Rachael Ray on the red carpet in quite some time. Here she is right before taking "best talk show (entertainment)" at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. When the Food TV star accepted her award she said,
"Holy cat. That is exciting. I really can't breathe."
Congrats!

"I had Keanu Reeves once who totally had no interest in speaking either and it was live. So I finally said, "Keanu, I hate to tell you this, but it is a talk show. You have to talk.'"On visiting Martha Stewart in prison:
"So I walk in looking all sloppy and out she comes looking like she's going to a photo shoot. Her hair is dyed, she's perfect in makeup. "Hey Rose it's lovely to see you.' I'm like in shock. "You know you can use mustache bleach for highlights.' She was totally perfect."On her "new" Tom Cruise:
"I'm obsessed with Escape to Chimp Eden. There is this guy who's my new Tom Cruise. Tom knows, I wrote him an email. "Sorry it's happened, I didn't think it would.' Send."On her time at The View:
"This is an amazing medium if you can use it in the right way. But what I learned from this is that it's much better when I'm the boss."On Barbara Walters:
"I have nothing but respect and reverence for her, for Barbara Walters, and for who she is. A daytime talk show host, a world-renowed journalist. She has talked to every world leader, before women were not allowed to even dream of doing that. She is a hero. She's a feminist hero whether or not she knows that."AIRDATE: Friday May 2, 2008

"I'm too tired," Ray, 39, says in a new interview with Extra. "I feel like I'm a bad mom to my dog... I have five jobs, and I just don't think I could take on the biggest job of being a parent."
