Rachel Weisz Never Wanted Body Double For Nude Scenes
Rachel Weisz "never thought of using a double" for nude scenes in her latest
film.
Before I even continue the rest of this story, I have to ask: Would you EVER do a nude scene in a movie?
Rachel obvious has the choice at this point in her career to bring on a double for those uncomfortable scenes, but the Oscar winning actress says she had no issues stripping down for her newest role. Rachel, who plays Greek philosopher and astronomer
Hypatia in 'Agora', prepared for her naked scenes by avoiding junk food.
When asked if she used a body double, Rachel said at the Cannes Film
Festival premiere of the movie:
"Absolutely not. It was all me, never even
thought of using a double. Although I was thinking about baby fat - but I think most of it had gone by
the time I went before the cameras."
Rachel - who has a two-year-old son Henry with fiance, director Darren
Aronofsky - also revealed she does yoga to help her stay trim.
Here's a little about the movie:
In 'Agora', the English actress emerges from a bath while a young slave,
played by Max Minghella, attends to her with a towel.
A love triangle forms between Hypatia, her slave and one of her students -
played by Oscar Issac.
Rachel says the relationship is not sexual.
"As far as we know she famously never had sex, she died a virgin.
But I thought she'd get at least one kiss."
'Agora' is scheduled for release in December.

Quite a few celebrities attended Cartier's 100th Anniversary in America Celebration at the Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion in New York last night.
Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel made quite the pair as they walked the red carpet for the event and I'm IN LOVE with Jessica's leather jacket and long dress.
Not to be outdone, Kate Hudson wore a stunning black dress with side cut outs and honestly I don't think she could have looked better.
Rachel Weisz was just as lovely though she kept things a bit more classic in a white and black strapless dress and leather ankle booties.

Rachel Weisz in New York
Actress Rachel Weisz was all bundled up in a over sized grey scarf, hat, and wool coat as she ran a few errands in New York yesterday. She's been a bit quiet, but Rachel typically flies under our radar doesn't she? The actress prefers to stay at home with her family or remain busy on set. She's already completed two new movies and has a new one in the works.

Rachel Weisz Attends The LA Premiere Of The Wrestler
Benjamin McKenzie, Evan Rachel Wood, Jared Leto, Benjamin McKenzie, Lisa Rinna and Marisa Tomei joined Rachel Weisz at the LA premiere of 'The Wrestler' held at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences
in Los Angeles, California. I actually had an interview set up with Lisa Rinna to talk about red carpet fashion and her new reality show, but it got canceled. BOO!
The movie itself doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I am sure it will leave a mark in the independent film realm. How can you go wrong with Mickey Rourke as a raging wrestler on a mission?
A drama centered on retired professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson as he makes his way through the independent circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival
Something you would want to see? And what about Evan's make up? Too much or just right for her style?
