ABC Cancels Rebecca Romijn's 'Eastwick'

Sad news for fans of Eastwick - the show has been canceled. The consolation is that they will air all 13 episodes that were originally ordered.
According to E!:
ABC has confirmed that no new episodes will be produced beyond the original 13-episode commitment.
Ugly Betty may be moving into Eastwick's Wednesday time slot.
I know several people who will be disappointed. This is one reason why it's hard to risk getting attached to new shows each season - if you really get into it - they give it the ax! Were you watching?

Jerry O'Connell To Guest Star On 'Eastwick'

Rebecca Romijn may be busy shooting her new TV show, 'Eastwick,' but it looks like she found a way to still see husband Jerry O'Connell: he'll appear on her show.
Jerry will play a man who arrives in town with a "mysterious past." But his character won't be romantically involved with Rebecca's character; instead Jerry will be working with Jaime Ray Newman. Luckily, Rebecca's okay with that!
"I think it’s great to have him play someone else's love interest, as it would have been distracting to have him come on and play my love interest," Rebecca tells In Touch.
This is the part about being married to an actor that I can't imagine. Who'd want to arrange to have their husband kissing another woman (even if you kiss other men as part of your job)? I guess that's why I'm not acting- LOL.
And who will watch the twins while both parents work?
"We’re going to have to figure that one out. They’ll probably be at the set the whole time!" the blond beauty added.
Jerry's been pretty busy despite being a stay-at-home dad. He's written a parenting memoir titled 'Cry, Feed , (Make Love to Wife), Burp.' I wonder when that book is coming out!
Is anyone watching 'Eastwick'? I've heard the ratings aren't the greatest.

Rebecca Romijn Says Her Girls Like To Wrestle

Rebecca Romijn’s nine-month-old twins love wrestling. The ‘Ugly Betty’ actress is surprised at the way daughters Dolly and Charlie – her children with husband Jerry O’Connell – wriggle and fight as she expected them to be less boisterous.
“I had this fantasy that when I would have two little girls they’d be wearing matching outfits with little bows in their hair. But these girls wrestle, and whatever I put in their hair they pull out and it goes directly in their mouth.
“Whatever babies shouldn’t do, they do. If I have a sweatshirt on with the cord in the hood, they pull it out and try to wrap it around their necks. I’m like, ‘Nooooo! Don’t do that!’
”
LOL! I guess most moms of girls would say the same thing right? My daughter is this ball of explosive energy. There's no silent tea parties like I expected. My days are spent catching her as she leaps off our couch and beds!
If you are a mom to girls, do you find that our angels aren't completely made of sugar and spice and everything nice?

Rebecca Romijn Talks About Plans For Her Family And Mother's Guilt

Jerry O'Connell gave his opinion to E!'s Marc Malkin about whether or not he wanted more children, and now wife Rebecca Romijn has concurred: and she gives an interesting rationale.
"I'm pretty sure that this is it," Romijn told [Marc Malkin] yesterday. "We feel like the world was made for pairs. Four feels like the perfect number."
"Also, we're not interested in overpopulating this world," she added. "So we feel like we don't want to leave more than we are when we leave this planet."
Rebecca, who is one of the stars of the new show 'Eastwick' on ABC, said she hadn't planned on working right after giving birth.

Jerry O'Connell Refused To Watch His Daughters' Birth

In all fairness, the view isn't for everyone :) Jerry O'Connell was in the delivery room when Rebecca Romijn gave birth, but he didn't actually watch twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip being born.
"I was there for the birth but I did not look though. A friend of mine said 'listen, I've looked so I'm giving you a piece of advice - I don’t think you should look' so I didn’t actually see anything," O'Connell told Tarts at the Much Love Animal Rescue Dinner in Hollywood on the weekend.
The Fox News reporter who was talking to Jerry kept on with the tough questions, next asking if Rebecca had managed to get her pre-pregnancy body back yet.
"Yes… yes I guess she is. She looks great, back into the pilates," O'Connell said. "She's stopped breast-feeding so it slows down a little, I don't know the particulars. But we had a very large lunch today and we had dessert so I don't think she’s dieting per se."
You have to love Jerry for his honesty :)
Jerry also talked about his decision to go to law school.
"I got the short straw for not working so I'm going to grad school part-time. I can do my homework and watch the kids at the same time," he added. "But Rebecca misses the girls a lot when she's at work so I bring them around and let them bother her on set."
Law school and child care sounds like a lot of work! Good luck with it all, Jerry.

Rebecca Romijn And Jerry O'Connell Are Done Having Kids

At least, that's what Jerry O'Connell told E! Online's Marc Malkin. If the family is expanded, it sounds like it'll be with four-legged members only- LOL.
"This is it," O'Connell said. "Factory closed. It's over. Now we're just adopting dogs."
Although it sounds like Jerry is certainly having fun with their twin daughters, Charlie and Dolly, so that's not an issue.
"I went to my wife's work yesterday, and she was in the middle of a
very dramatic scene," O'Connell said. "And I had the kids there, and
one of them was like, 'Bwaaahhh.' It was very verbal and busted the
scene up.""I thought it was funny, but I don't think the director did, so I
got the heck out of there," he continued. "I had a long talk with the
girls about show business, but I don't think they had any idea what the
heck I was talking about."
I wonder if wife Rebecca Romijn agrees? Sure, right now another child may seem unimaginable, but give it a couple of years... :)

Ok, so the picture is a bit dated on this one - but the shoes are still the same. Check out Rebecca Romijn wearing Libertas Dame Sandals. They retail for $174 and must be super comfortable considering this actress wore them throughout her entire pregnancy!
