Well, isn't this exciting casting news. Renee Zellweger and Chris Noth have both signed on for the same movie. Renee specifically requested Chris to be her love interest as she felt he was the perfect fit. Here is the breakdown -

Renee plays a woman looking for a wealthy man to support her family.

Chris plays that wealthy man.

A 1950s-set comedy in which the glamorous Anne Deveraux (Zellweger) embarks on a drive down the Eastern Seaboard in a quixotic search for a wealthy man to fund a new life for her and her sons

I really enjoy Chris as an actor and am so excited to see him landing more lead roles on the big screen. Hopefully, the SATC movie has kicked up his career a notch. (Yes, I sounded like Emeril right there)

My One and Only is due out in 2009.

Renee Zellweger was strolling through Central Park wearing her iPod and enjoying the gorgeous day. Walking outside is SO much more enjoyable to me then walking inside a gym. There is something invigorating and yet peaceful about sunshine, people, and air. Which do you prefer?

Renee Zellweger Loves Rude People

At first I thought this story was going to be really out there, but after reading, it makes total sense. Renee Zellweger has a thing for rude people. She loves them! So if you ever meet her, blow her off, it might make a good impression :)
"I know that sounds so crazy, but I really cherish it when someone is mean, because they're just having a bad day and they don't recognise that you know Tom Cruise, and so they don't alter their behavior in any way. I love it. I love it when the stewardess is just nasty." But Zellweger hates it when people suddenly realize who she is and start pretending to be nice - as it always seems so fake." She adds, "I just cringe when she (the stewardess) comes back and apologizes because she didn't realize."

George Clooney looking oh so cool and lax in his tux promoted Leatherheads in Paris alongside Renee Zellweger at its Parisian premiere. It was so cold in Paris that Renee's assistant had to keep putting her coat on Renee's shoulders to warm her up. Don't you hate that?! You have a beautiful dress on that you can't wait to show off and then you have to throw a shawl on if the weather isn't on your side.After the premiere, the two actors went to the "Cantine du Faubourg".Bauer Griffin

Renee Zellweger & George Clooney posed for photographs on the red carpet of the UK premiere of their new movie, Leatherheads last night. I really love the way Renee has been dressing lately and this purple dress is no exception. Doesn't the color look fantastic on her? And of course George looks dashing as usual. They seemed to be having a great time fooling around while they posed for pics.

Motherhood Isn't For Renee Zellweger Right Now

When asked about whether or not motherhood was something Renee Zellweger was considering, she said it never has been a goal.

"Motherhood has never been an ambition. I don't think like that. I never have expectations like, 'When I'm 19 I'm going to do this, and by the time I've hit 25 I'm going to do that'. I just take things as they come, each day at a time, and if things happen then all well and good.
"I just want to be independent and be able to take care of myself. Anything else is just gravy. I'm very happy, I like my work and I don't want fame and fortune and all the free stuff."

Goes to show you how different we all really are. I wanted to be a mom when I was 3 years old! hahahah Renee certainly knows how to dress up to promote her new movie, "Leatherheads" right? First we saw her in that amazing blue dress and now this simple, but gorgeous red one. Which dress do you prefer? I love the red one, but I prefer her hair style when she wore the blue dress.

LA Leatherheads Premiere

These are the nicest pictures I've seen of Renee Zellweger in a very long time. Everything is working. EVERYTHING. Almost reminds me of her Jerry Maguire days. Fifteen more pounds and we will be THERE Renee! :) Here she is alongside George Clooney, Sarah Larsen, Cindy Crawford and her husband Mr. Gerber at the 'Leatherheads' premiere held at the Grauman's Chinese theatre.Speaking of George, do you think he has to buy Sarah every dress she wears to a red carpet event? Does he mind? Does he pick it out? I would LOVE to know.UPDATE: I just found out that Renee wanted to be a journalist before she got into acting. When asked on the red carpet if she would ever consider the profession again, she said no.

"I don't know that I'd want that kind of responsibility of having the power to hurt someone with a public disclosure. But, ironically, I intended to be a reporter before I got into acting. I majored in journalism, so it was kind of fun to explore that. But I could never write a story that would have a big, negative impact on somebody's life. I don't think I'd sit well with that."

No Mortgage For Renee Zellweger

You know, I almost understand this! Renee Zellweger sold her super pricey Bel Air mansion because she didn't feel she used it enough. So instead, she is pocketing that expense and living in hotels all around the world wherever work takes her. I really LOVE this idea. If a celeb frequently works, how often do they get to go home anyway? She could have always bought a little house instead of a $3 million estate. But I guess Renee opted for room service instead.

"I'm never bored. The whole world is home. It's my playground. I can go and play anywhere and I love it. I like to move along. "I had a really nice house in Bel Air and I was paying this huge mortgage for my cat. I have my storage in New York. Home is where my mum and dad and niece and nephew are."
