Robin Thicke And Paula Patton Expecting A Boy

Robin Thicke and his wife, actress Paula Patton, have revealed that their first child is going to be a boy. The couple announced back in November that they were expecting.
Robin is very excited about the things he'll be introducing his new son to:
"Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we'll experience that together," he says. "That's the beauty of having a child."
He's excited but also nervous about doing things "right".
"I'm afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that's when I'm scared or worried about the future," Thicke says. "I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don't know if kids ever think their parents were there enough."
I think all parents can related to those worries. I can't recall the baby's due date? I don't think they've shared that part.
You can catch Paula right now in the new movie "Precious: based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire". That's such a long name, I'm surprised they didn't consider trimming it down. lol

Robin Thicke And Paula Patton Have Picked Baby Names

Talk about being prepared! Singer Robin Thicke and his wife, Paula Patton, are expecting their first baby. They may not know the gender (and if they do, they aren't telling), but they've already decided on the baby's name.
"We like Julian if it's a boy and Isabella if it's a girl," he told PEOPLE Saturday...
"My wife is good," he said, "I'm just trying to make her as comfortable as possible and hopefully nature will take care of the rest and give us a healthy baby."
Awww... that's so sweet! Robin said he's getting plenty of advice.
"The best advice I've got was I've been told just to enjoy this moment and it's the most special time in your life. It can seem stressful and worrisome, but it's the best time and we're excited."
Sounds like wonderful advice to me :)

Robin Thicke And Wife Paula Patton Are Expecting A Baby

There was a false alarm once before, but this one is for real! Singer Robin Thicke and his wife, 'Precious' actress Paula Patton, are expecting a baby. A rumor started that Paula was pregnant once before.
"It was a baby doll dress, and it was after the holidays. I probably gained a good 10-15 pounds, I don't know, and suddenly after one picture, I was pregnant," the Precious actress, 33, remembers. "What are you going to do? It's life. I wish it happened. That would've been better."
This time an announcement on Robin's mother's Facebook page is serving as confirmation.
"I am going to be Nana Gloria again as my son Robin Thicke & his wife Paula are expecting their first baby!"
Who needs a publicist? LOL
Congratulations, Robin and Paula!

Jennifer Hudson Suffers From Throat Condition

Oh, this is not good! Luckily, it's just temporary. Jennifer Hudson will not perform on her national tour with Robin Thicke this week so she can undergo treatment for a throat condition related to her singing, according to E!'s Marc Malkin. Marc said he attended one of her performances in LA last Saturday, and he couldn't detect any problems.
Throughout her hour-long set, she was hitting all of those very high
and very powerful notes that she's become so famous for. Her best
numbers were 'You Pulled Me Through' and 'If This Isn't Love.' No
surprise, but her one encore was 'And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going)' from Dreamgirls."
I can't tell if the performances will be rescheduled or if Robin will perform solo. Hopefully it's nothing serious and Jennifer will feel better soon!

Celebrities Show Their Support For The Children's Defense Fund

Reese Witherspoon, Zachary Quinto, Elizabeth Shue, and Robin Thicke took time out of their busy schedules to attend a fund raiser for the Children's Defense Fund. This is the organization's 18th year in service!!
The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) is a non-profit child advocacy organization which champions policies and programs that lift children out of poverty; protect them from abuse and neglect; and ensure their access to health care, quality education, and a moral and spiritual foundation. Supported by foundation and corporate grants and individual donations, CDF advocates nationwide on behalf of children to ensure children are always a priority.
What a great cause! Reese has been championing this cause for quite some time now. I remember the actress talking about her work with CDF on Idols Give Back earlier this year.
