Fall is officially here - David Beckham was seen layering up his wardrobe at the airport in London today. :)
But Russell Simmons must've missed the memo that summer is over. Here he is with his girlfriend, Julie Henderson, at the beach in Miami! I'd love to be frolicking in the sunshine! So jealous!!
Also out and about was Selena Gomez, who was snapped at a charity event in California.

Mary J Blige And Russell Simmons Speak To PS 165 Students At The Rush Art Gallery
INO was invited to cover this event and I sent along my writer, Victoria. Here's her recap:
Russell Simmons and Mary J Blige made an appearance at the Rush Art Gallery to speak to students from PS 165 who participated in the “Building Bounty-ful Bridges” project.
Through Bounty's partnership with Rush Philanthropic, children across the country will be able to express their creativity by creating a large-scale collaborative painting that "bridges" them creatively with others across the country. This is in perfect sync with Bounty's mission to provide children with hands-on fun activities that nurture their creativity and curiosity.
Before the surprising appearances, each student drew a part of the Washington Bridge and later connected the pieces together.
“We are all the same, we just need to find the connection,” said Russell Simmons about the initiative. He went on to speak about the importance of his project, “art opens up your heart, art opens up the doors for you.”
"Art is a great platform to unleash the imagination. The Building Bounty-ful Bridges program is a great opportunity for youth throughout the country to express themselves through the arts."
Mary J Blige gave an inspirational speech as well saying that her whole life "is an expression" and encouraged the students to "never give up".
The kids were excited to see Mary, screaming out “sing a song for us” and taking pictures on their cell phones. The singer gave everyone a hug and posed for the photographs before taking off. The event was sponsored by Bounty which is partnering with Russell Simmons' Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation to draw attention to the significance of youth arts education.
What a great cause!
Celebrities Attend Baby Phat Fashion Week After Party
I know a lot of the NY fashion bloggers only because we all get invited to the same events and there are two shows this group was most excited to see. Marchese (pics here) because it's more like an A-List gathering and... Baby Phat (pics here). Kimora Lee supposedly puts on a really good show. I didn't attend this year, but so many different people mentioned it that it must be true.
Here are some of the celebrities who attended the after party: Sheree Whitfield from RHOA, Amber Rose (minus Kanye West), Amanda Lepore, Lisa Rinna and Russell Simmons.
That's an eclectic group isn't it? Amanda and Sheree at the same gathering? LOL
Kim Kardashian Picks Out Engagement Ring
I did the same thing. Gave my husband specs... if you will. If I was planning on wearing that ring for the rest of my life, I wanted to be sure I absolutely loved it! :)
Kim Kardashian has confessed she already picked out her engagement ring... even though Reggie Bush hasn't proposed yet! LOL. Hey - she's a planner
"He definitely knows all of us went ring shopping. I definitely
scared him and told him it was probably way more expensive than it is, just
so that when he goes he feels like he's getting a good deal. He knows what
it looks like. I think I've emailed him enough pictures!"
Kim recently claimed she is Reggie's good luck charm when she goes to watch
him play for his team the New Orleans Saints.
"I don't have to sneak into games. I'd like to think I was his
good luck charm, but I'd also like to think he plays at his best even when
I'm not there."
So sweet! I wish them the best of luck. I've mentioned it before - I am totally loving the entire Kardashian crew. Their reality show is one of my new favorites to watch.

Nick Cannon Isn't Worthy To Be On Mariah Carey's Album
Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon says he's "not worthy" to appear on her records.
The young actor joked he can't even step into a studio with her.
"I am not worthy of being on a Mariah Carey record. Please, we're
going to try to keep her career soaring. I can't even step into the studio
with that woman. She is incredible."
Well, that's a very nice thing to say. Mariah really is one of the great ones, but I am sure she wouldn't mind her husband on a few of her tracks. :)
Nick also believes he managed to make his marriage happen by constantly
talking about how attracted he was to Mariah before the pair met.
"I say I spoke my marriage into existence. I was the biggest
Mariah Carey fan ever. Every time I'd do interviews and they'd ask, 'Who is
your celebrity crush?' I was like, 'Mariah Carey! I've got to meet Mariah
Carey.' "
Sounds very Katie Holmes!
Nick even opened up about the couple having children. They want to get to their first wedding anniversary (April 30th) before thinking about anything so serious.
"I think what it is, is the public really wants us to have kids.
We're going to do it and when we do it we're going to let you all know. But
right now, we're trying to enjoy the newlywed aspect."
If I'm being honest, this couple still boggles the mind. BUT as long as they are happy, who cares? Best of luck to them!

More Celebrities Enjoying Park City
Denise Richards and Pierce Brosnan ran into each other during the Sundance Film Festival looking very happy to reconnect. I'm sure that several people are hooking up with old friends while walking up and down Main Street. Also spotted on day 4 were Seth Green, Susan Sarandon, Christina Milian, Anthony Kiedes, Russell Simmons, Brittany Snow, and Matthew Lillard.

The Russell Simmons Argyle Couture Runway Show
So far, this has been the best show I've ever been to as far as the energy in the room. The venue started to get ready for the event HOURS before the actual show began. People starting arriving at 4, I'm talking celebrities where typically, everyone jumps in at the tail end. The music was loud and jamming throughout and there was security EVERYWHERE. It was so GREAT!
Russell Simmons is a FORCE to be reckoned with. When he walks, I am TELLING YOU that people make room. It's like parting of the red sea. He has a power to him, a control like I've never seen. He gave everyone a moment of his time and then that was more than enough. A couple of pictures, moving on, a couple of really short interviews and then business. All business. No wonder he's done so much with his life.
I had trouble getting into the media suite even though I had two VIP bracelets and was repped by the biggest sponsor at the venue. Finally, I convinced the 400 pound bodyguard that YES, I was supposed to be in there!
I got in and took as many pics as I could of Russell before he left. Also in the room were Melanie Brown (are you sick of her yet), her husband Stephen, and the two singers that I saw perform live during the week (Shontelle and Kreesha). Both girls tried to introduce themselves to Melanie, and let's just say she wasn't that interested.
Then guess who we all spotted in the corner... Dwayne Wayne! OMG! I thought that was hilarious. I was like... Dwayne? Kadeem Hardison looks exactly the same doesn't he? The house photographers got him to go up to the media wall for photos and he shyly obliged.
In the audience was Aubrey O'Day and D Woods from Danity Kane, Laurie Ann-Gibson (Diddy's choreographer), Sean Paul and Petra Namcova. Last but not least, we have the Real Housewives of NYC. Click on the continue reading link to read a really funny store about Ramona getting snubbed.
