Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams shared an intimate kiss earlier in the day in front of dozens of crew members while filming a scene for 'Blue Valentine'  in New York City. OK - so maybe it wasn't so intimate!

The film centers on a contempo married couple, charting their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods.

The premise sounds cute and something tells me Ryan knows how to carry a romantic movie. Has anyone heard of ... 'The Notebook'?! LOL

Ryan Gosling, Jessica Alba, Cuba Gooding Jr., Channing Tatum, and Rachel Zoe attended the Los Angeles premiere of 'Sugar' held at the Pacific Design Center 'Silverscreen Theatre'.

It took a little hunting to find out what this movie was considering none of these celebrities actually starred in the film.

"Sugar" follows the story of Miguel Santos, a.k.a. Sugar, a Dominican pitcher from San Pedro De Macoris, struggling to make it to the big leagues and pull himself and his family out of poverty. Playing professionally at a baseball academy in the Dominican Republic, Miguel finally gets his break at age 19 when he advances to the United States' minor league system; but when his play on the mound falters, he begins to question the single-mindedness of his life's ambition. Blending the genres of sports drama, immigrant journey, and coming-of-age story, "Sugar" is a unique film about self-discovery.

After just a few months of being back on, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling are off again.  The couple split up after just four months of being together again.  Boo!  Is anyone else really sad about this news?  When they started dating the second time around, I felt like all was right in the world. :P 

I LOVE them together.  Yes, I am a total sap and cry like a baby every time I watch those two in The Notebook.  They just have such great chemistry...

When I saw this post over at Just Jared, I just had to share. It's always great to see a guy who isn't afraid to stand up for a good cause. Ryan Gosling was so disgusted over the inhumane treatments of chickens for KFC Canada that he decided to write a letter to the company's CEO.

"Dear Mr. Bitove:
I am discouraged to hear that KFC Canada has not intervened to eliminate the abuses that birds raised and killed for KFC restaurants suffer, despite the strides that are being made by other companies.
I understand that KFC Canada is still allowing its suppliers to scald chickens to death in scorching-hot water tanks and that many birds still suffer broken wings and legs because of violent treatment prior to slaughter. As a Canadian, I hope that you'll set a good example for KFC operators in the U.S. and elsewhere by stopping the worst abuses endured by the birds killed for KFC Canada's buckets. Won't you please consider setting a precedent that all other KFCs can follow?
The time is ripe to do the right thing. By adopting the basic recommendations made by PETA and scientific experts (including raising birds in a more natural manner and employing less cruel slaughter methods), you could dramatically improve the lives and deaths of chickens raised and killed for KFC Canada.

Page Six is reporting that Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling are dating!  They're co-stars in the movie All Good Things, so you know how that goes...celebrities are always linked to their co-stars.  Sources says,

"They were definitely acting like they were on a date. They lingered there for hours and were both dressed kind of shabby."

I love how it specifies that they were both dressed shabby, as if that makes them more of a couple :)

Ryan Gosling has been ousted from the on screen adaptation of best selling book Lovely Bones. The reason? He's "too fat," for the part.

"Peter Jackson was said to be quite surprised that Gosling had showed up to start work on "The Lovely Bones" looking like he'd donned a fat suit. According to sources, the 26-year-old Gosling had apparently told the director he was going to gain weight to age himself up to play the part of a grieving father, but Jackson was still expecting some movie star allure -- not paunch and a beard. By Friday, Gosling had left the high-profile production over those pesky 'creative differences,' and, by Sunday, he'd been replaced by 36-year-old Mark Wahlberg, who actually could be old enough to father a teenager."

It's rare to hear of these situations happening to men in Hollywood. Usually the ladies are the ones being told they need to slim down for a role. It is kind of interesting to see the scenario reversed.
Oh well, one hot guy replaces another hot guy...doesn't matter much to me :)
In other news, I LOVED the book! So I will definitely be seeing this movie when it comes out. Anybody else out there excited?!?

Ryan Gosling spoke about the break up heard 'round the world in next month's GQ. He is one half of the couple everyone (and I mean everyone) was rooting for. It's funny how he mentions how he is consoling the public when it should be the other way around.----On people who compare his relationship with Rachel to The Notebook:"I mean, God bless The Notebook. It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that."On breaking up with Rachel:"The only thing I remember is we both went down swingin' and we called it a draw."On how fans reacted to the split:"Women are mad at me. A girl came up to me on the street and she almost smacked me. Like, "How could you? How could you let a girl like that go?' I feel like I want to give people hugs, they seem so sad. Both actors attended the Toronto Film Festival showing off very different looks. Viggo Mortensen sported new facial hair while Ryan Gosling sported a few extra pounds.
