Sandra Bullock Promoting 'The Blind Side'

We've already discussed how heartwarming the trailer is for 'The Blind Side' on INO. I just can't wait to see this movie in the theatre!
Here's Sandra Bullock alongside Kathie Lee Gifford on the 'Today Show' promoting her latest film.
"The Blind Side" depicts the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome.
As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle. In the latest chapter of his inspiring story, Oher was a First Round draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, selected by the Baltimore Ravens. The Touhys were there to share the moment with him.
I wish much success on this movie as I think it's a story that needs to be heard.

Jesse James Says Sandra Bullock Is Not A Part Of The Custody Dispute

I wondered why Janine Lindemulder focused so much on Sandra Bullock when talking about her custody dispute over five-year-old Sunny. Jesse James is the father and the one with legal custody!
Jesse apparently feels the same way.
"Sandra Bullock is not a party to this litigation," [Jesse's attorney] Slifman says in a statement to PEOPLE. "Mr. James's sole concern is for the safety, welfare and best interests of his daughter. The proper forum to resolve this case is in the courtroom."
I guess I can see where having another woman parent your child would be especially troubling, and I can also see where mentioning Sandra would help Janine get on television in the first place.
Regarding Janine's remarks, Jesse's attorney described them as "inaccurate and unfortunate."
This entire situation is sad. Hopefully they'll be able to find a resolution that works best for Sunny.

Sandra Bullock In Custody Battle With Jesse's Ex-Wife
Jesse James' ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, is taking to the airwaves to publicly blast him and Sandra Bullock over the custody of daughter, Sunny James (5).
Janine, a former adult film star, has been in jail for almost a year now, serving time for tax-evasion. She is out now and wants Sunny returned to her. So, like all good parents who want to communicate - she goes on Good Morning America to talk about it?
What would give her the right to take away my daughter?" Lindemulder said of Bullock, toward whom the majority of her ire seems directed. "This is my daughter. I'm the best mother I can be."
Jesse and Sandra both wrote letters to the judge pleading their case for wanting full time custody of Sunny. Apparently the living the conditions at Janine's were less than desirable. Sandra's letter included:
"I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant 'high alert,' " she writes. "Never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in.
Sandra Bullock Says She Isn't Exactly A Sweetheart

What? Sandra Bullock? Sandra seems great! She may be one of the big romantic comedy stars, but she doesn't confuse her characters with reality. She knows her faults. To me, that just makes her more likable :) Sandra 'fessed up to Parade magazine.
"Listen, I know I'm not easy to deal with. I'm controlling, and I want everything orderly, and I need lists. My mind goes a mile a minute. I'm difficult on every single level. I'm aware that I can be annoying.
"I like to iron. Ironing is comfort. It's control. I'm a nutty person who likes to make sure everything is in its place. I am a big ball of high energy and organization and structure. Don't forget, I'm half-German."
Sandra used this "annoying" side of herself for her latest character, Leigh Anne Tuohy, a flamboyant Southern woman who adopts a disadvantaged African American teenage boy, in her new film 'The Blind Side,'.

First Look: Sandra Bullock In 'The Blind Side'
Excuse me while I wipe the tears off my cheeks. What a MOVIE!! Take a look at Sandra Bullock in 'The Blind Side' and let me know what you think.
A poor, over-sized and under-educated teenager is recruited by a major college football program where he is groomed into an athletically and academically successful NFL prospect. Based on Michael Lewis' book, "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game.
Thanks Kodie!
Sandra Bullock Will Never Let Someone Do Her Food Shopping

Sandra Bullock refuses to have anyone do her grocery shopping. The Hollywood actress wants to remain down to earth, and thinks buying her own food will stop her getting to caught up in the glamorous side of Hollywood.
"I like to do my own food shopping. I don't have a staff to go out and get shopping for me. Occasionally I will ask someone to go out and pick me up some wine if they are by the store - but I always buy my own stuff."
Sandra - who lives in Austin, Texas with husband Jesses James - says local residents help keep her grounded as they don't care if she's famous.
"I don't get hassled by people either when I go shopping. They are so over me here it's fantastic. They actually roll their eyes at me as if to say, 'Oh not her again.' "
I guess once you've seen the same celeb over and over again the excitement does tend to go away. Do you frequently bump into a celebrity where you live? Is it no longer exciting?
