Last week we were all pretty shocked when Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested under suspicion of DUI. It wasn’t the first time it happened to Michael; he was arrested for a DUI ten years ago, when he was 19. Given that Michael is now 29, this was pretty surprising. Melissa Rivers, daughter of the late comedienne Joan Rivers, reportedly is planning to sue a physician, Dr. Gwen Korovin, who performed an unscheduled biopsy on Joan during a throat procedure. It was the biopsy that is said to have caused Joan’s vocal chords to swell, which cut off her oxygen supply. That led to Joan going into cardiac and respiratory arrest.
