Jon Gosselin And Hailey Glassman Set Meeting With Attorneys

Now Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman want to resolve their legal issues go away through a face-to-face meeting. With their attorneys. I think having the attorneys present is a smart move :)

“We are going to sit down together and try and resolve all of the outstanding issues,” [Hailey’s attorney] Ovadia said. “This way both of them can move on. They are both young adults and let them move on with their lives…they both have their own responsibilities they need to get to.

Hopefully the two of them will come to some resolve where they can move on. I would love to see it happen and make 2010 a new, happy year for everybody!”

Hailey’s attorney said no actual date had been set for the meeting, but it would be announced when one had been set.

Why start keeping things private now? I have to wonder if they’re hoping this attention will lead to some type of reality show. What kind of show would it be, though?

Well, in the spirit of the holiday season, I will send out a New Year’s wish for these two: a VERY QUIET 2010 :)

Update: Charlie Sheen Offered Brooke Mueller $1 Million To Stay

This is starting to sound all too familiar. OK! magazine reports Charlie Sheen has offered to increase Brooke Mueller’s prenup by $1 million if she agrees to stay with him and he stays out of jail.

Brooke has told friends that Charlie’s team made her the offer after his arrest on domestic violence charges after a Christmas Day argument spiraled out of control.

Sources close to Brooke say she was told by Charlie’s people that if he goes to prison, there will be no money for her and no child support money for their nine-month-old twins Bob and Max.

Now that doesn’t sound right to me. How could Charlie just refuse to pay child support and whatever alimony was agreed to in their prenup if he goes to jail? He reportedly earns six figures per episode of ‘Two and a Half Men,’ so he has the money.

Brooke’s attorney is now saying she wants to work things out in the marriage. Hopefully everyone will stay safe: that’s the most important thing!

Update: Brooke’s attorney told People: “I don’t think any discussion about finances is true.”

Rachel Uchitel Denies Having Contact With Tiger Woods

Remember the story from a few days ago that Tiger Woods was spotted partying with his alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel? Well, Rachel (and her attorney, Gloria Allred) are denying that rumor.

Ms. Uchitel has had absolutely no contact with Tiger Woods for quite some time, and has not seen him or had any communication with him since she has been in Palm Beach,” [Gloria’s] statement read.

Rachel told Access Hollywood she went out with a group of friends on the night the rumored partying occurred.

Of course, by now, she could have just said nothing, because we’ve all pretty much forgotten, but where’s the publicity in that?

Here’s to hoping all of Tiger’s alleged mistresses are able to put this whole mess behind them and move on with their lives (privately) in 2010 :)

Tyra Banks: A Terror To Work With?

According to some CW staffers, the answer would be yes. Now that Tyra Banks has announced the end of her talk show (which she reportedly did publicly before even telling ‘The Tyra Show’ staffers- ouch), more people are coming forward.

“There had been high turnover of employees for years,” a past crew member says, insisting that many people quit after just a few months because it was “pretty difficult to work for Tyra.”

“She and the higher-ups on the production staff could be extremely brutal,” the source says. “She really is a diva.”

An industry source who has worked on the show agreed, adding, “Everything had to be done Tyra’s way.”

What did an executive have to say about Tyra as a boss?

“Honestly, I don’t know how it would be to work under her,” says the snitch, who served in a high-level position. “But for me, it was a good experience. Tyra just knows how she likes things done. And as for her ‘diva-ness,’ well, it sells.”

Not exactly a firm denial, now is it? This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Tyra being a diva. Maybe it’s better she take a more behind-the-scenes role rather than keep putting her own persona out there.

What do you think? Do you believe it?

Hailey Glassman Files Harassment Complaint Against Jon Gosselin

Things continue to escalate between Hailey Glassman and Jon Gosselin. Hailey has filed a harassment complaint with the NYPD, alleging that Jon physically and verbally abused her.

“[S]he was pushed against [a] wall” on Dec. 20 and verbally abused by Gosselin, a charge under investigation by cops. “The document speaks for itself,” said Glassman’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia.

Apparently, the problems began when Jon saw a picture of Hailey kissing another man. The kiss reportedly occurred after Hailey found out Jon was cheating on her.

Jon’s attorney’s response to Hailey’s harassment complaint?

“Jon is a lover, not a fighter,” said Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Heller. “He’s been rumored to steal a kiss here and there, but he has never been accused of landing a sucker punch.”

The NYPD is investigating Hailey’s complaint. This is what happens when legal adults have the maturity of preteens. Or people decide to get the law involved in a messy break-up. Or want publicity. Take your pick :)

Somewhere, away from the paparazzi and her kids, you just know Kate Gosselin is having a good laugh.

Police Chief Sentenced To Prison For Sarah Jessica Parker Surrogate’s Home Invasion

Hopefully this will send a message that there are LIMITS to what you can do to make a quick buck! The Ohio Police Chief Barry Carpenter who was convicted of committing theft while in office and receiving stolen property last month was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison today.

[Judge] Solovan told Carpenter “You have taken no responsibility or accountability for your actions.”

The chief reportedly admitted on tape to Internal Affairs investigators that he entered the surrogate’s house when he found the door “ajar.” The surrogate testified that ultrasound pictures and tax documents were stolen from her home, and two paparazzi testified the lawman approached them about selling things he stole.

I’m sure the surrogate feels vindicated, but if I were her, I would MOVE. Can you imagine the Chief of Police doing that to you?

Security Tape Proves Jon Gosselin Didn’t Fake Burglary

Radar Online reports that a security tape in Jon Gosselin’s apartment building is helping to clear his name. Jon’s been accused of staging the burglary of his apartment for publicity. According to Jon’s lawyer, Mark Heller, he was only in the apartment for 60 seconds before rushing back out to report the break-in.

“He is going to be clocked by that surveillance camera going into his building,” Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com. Sixty seconds after going into his apartment, “he comes down to talk to management. It’s all on tape. He couldn’t have done all that damage in 60 seconds. His place was trashed, his belongings ripped to shreds.”

Hailey Glassman has claimed that she was in the apartment but only to take her own belongings. Heller says that’s not true.

“She’s probably going to have a list of things she said he said she could take,” Heller said “Well, let me tell you, we will have credit card statement and receipts proving Jon bought the items she is carrying out the door. “And we will say in a sworn affidavit that he (Jon) didn’t authorize her to take the TV and other items that belong to him. Once they (investigators) see the video it will be a felony.”

Heller also says that he believes Hailey will end up facing charges of possession of stolen property and vandalism.

Who do you think will come out as the culprit? Maybe neither of them did it?
