Shenae Grimes For TeenPROM
90210's hot up and comer Shenae Grimes graces the cover of TeenPROM, on newsstands now. She and co-star Dustin Milligan posed for a prom-themed photo spread inside the magazine and Shenae shared details about their strong chemistry.
On her chemistry with costar Dustin:
"We kind of had [chemistry] from the very beginning. I also think it has certainly developed over time and we've gotten much closer. We always had this kind of brother/sister thing going on because we are both from Canada. It's really cute. We always make fun and joke around with each other."
On her style:
"I take my outfits very personally. I usually don't look to anyone else for advice; I go with my gut." But if she had to choose someone to trust with her style, "it would probably be my friend Elena or Jessica Stroup, my cast mate on 90210."
Do you like Shenae's style? Acting skills? What about the series in general? I think she is really sweet looking and reminds me of a younger Amy Adams or Isla Fisher. However, I am unfamiliar with her acting ability as I am not a fan of the show.

Drug Problem For Shenae Grimes?
That's a bold claim isn't it?
Star Magazine is reporting that Shenae Grimes from the new 90210 might be having a little issue with illegal substances. While hosting The Gemini Awards with Jason Priestley, sources claim the actress was "totally wired — practically vibrating".
"It's impossible to be that high-energy without some help."
The 19-year-old is even slacking in the work department showing up late for filming and needing help with her lines.
She's partying so hard that "she's been showing up late for filming and is forgetting her lines," says a source. "People on set are complaining that she's more trouble than she's worth."
Uh oh! Do you think the pressure of Hollywood has finally gotten to Shenae? Or could it be that she is just a young girl who doesn't have the best work ethic yet?

90210's Shenae Grimes Denies Eating Disorder
Anyone watch the new 90210? Whether or not you are a fan, if you read gossip blogs then you heard of the eating disorder rumor that went around a few months ago. Each actress competing to be skinner than their cast mate. But one has finally come forward to deny she is sick. Shenae Grimes says this is just how she naturally looks.
"Nobody has asked me about it. I really can't help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it.
"Meet me in person, and you can't say anything. No bones sticking out. Just because people are calling you skinny doesn't mean I'm like, 'Yay!' No! You're telling me I don't look right. This is me, this is my body – I have accepted it."
"These are stories that have been written about everybody," says the star. "Of course we're the new girls on a hit show so we're plopped into these little boxes. And people buy it. It makes me totally second guess anything I've ever read about anybody."
I was going to start on a rant, but then rememebered an email I received from a young INO reader who told me about how unhappy she was that skinny is always looked as negative in Hollywood. The reader said she was naturally thin her whole life and would feel personally attacked every time a new story would break about eating disorders. Some people really are just born thin... whether or not that makes sense to everyone else.
So, I will ask you - what do you think about what Shenae is saying? And as I am no expert in psychology, does anyone know off hand whether or not all women with eating disorders are aware that they have a problem? Can you be compulsive about watching calories and think it's completely normal? I suppose it goes with exercise too right?

CW Network Is Trying To Bring The Hyper Skinny Model Back?
Come on! Enough of this! How many more complexes can we pass onto our children?
Entertainment Weekly is doing an expose on networks and their casting agendas for Fall programing. AND guess who gets a big FAIL? Rumer has it the CW network is enouraging the promotion of super skinny models in its latest line up.
One casting agent who works frequently with The CW turns a critical eye on the network itself. “I know in discussions at ABC and CBS that ‘too skinny’ is no good. They talk about it as a minus point,” says the agent.
“But at The CW it’s a different story. They’re trying to pull in the Gossip Girl audience and that’s the image: hyper-skinny models.”
On the new 90210, it is being reported that no one weighs more than 110 pounds and a memo even went around to ensure it stood that way. (This is being denied by reps by the way)

Cast Of 'Beverly Hills 90210' Filming
Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stoup and Tristan Wilds were spotted filming at The Komoko, aka The Peach Pitt, in West Hollywood for the new 'Beverly Hills 90210'. I am a true fan of the original 90210, but I have to admit I am really excited to see the new one. I can't imagine it will be as great as the original, but I do have high hopes.
