Simon Cowell took his lovely mother to lunch at The Ivy for Mother's Day and from the looks of it they had a great time. I think it's wonderful that he was with his mom yesterday and even though he can be mean (an understatement), at least we know he loves his parents. :)

I wish Simon Cowell was proud of ME!!!!  Holy smokes...the American Idol judge was so proud of X-Factor winner Leona Lewis that he's buying her a $5 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills.  Ok, so let me just say that again...he's giving her a FIVE MILLION DOLLAR GIFT.  A source said that he thinks she could become the next Whitney Houston (hopefully minus the whole drug addiction thing).

"Simon thinks she is absolutely amazing so he wanted to treat her. He's so pleased with how hard she works and what a massive success she's become."

When Leona called home to tell them the good news the whole family burst into tears!

Here's that witty and mean Simon Cowell posing for photographs with fans at the Ivy in Los Angeles. I personally adore Simon, most of the time. Sometimes he's just mean, but for the most part I kind of cheer for him. Did you hear about how he paid off a $160K mortgage for a family with a child that has cancer on Oprah? I mean that is just so admirable.

"I saw that Dudley Moore film and it was great. Afterwards, I got a telescope installed in my kitchen so I can spy on people. I look out over the Hollywood Hills into my neighbours' gardens. It's an amazing view. It isn't powerful enough to see into their homes - so you can't see them in the shower - but you can see into their gardens. It's great fun. I just like to keep an eye on what is happening."

Simon Cowell was offered $2 million smackaroos to be the face for Viagra and he turned it down. I guess when you make as much money as he does, that really isn't a lot of cash. Not only did he turn it down, but he called it an insult. At first I thought he meant the paycheck, but my guess is he doesn't feel he is the right demographic for the drug.
Would you promote Viagra for $2 million?

Simon Cowell and girlfriend Teri Seymour catch up with buddies Philip Green and film director Michael Winner whilst sun bathing on the exclusive Sandy Lane Beach. Teri has always said when she is ready to have children, she will leave Simon since he has made it perfectly clear about his non-intention of procreating. I feel bad for her. If she is really in love with Simon, it will be one of the hardest decisions she will ever make. It would be so much easier if they were on the same page about this.
Anyone go through this? I actually know a friend of a friend who is divorcing for this exact reason.

I didn't realize Simon Cowell was a trained psychologist! Wow, he really is multi-talented! The American Idol judges want 6 months with Britney Spears and promise to cure all ailments. I am sure that is exactly what she wants to hear because Simon, Paula and Randy are obviously on top of her "People I Trust" list. Do you think they will throw in their dvd for free because that would be awesome??

We will take her under our wing for six months and we will produce a new Britney Spears." And he insists he knows exactly what needs to be done to revamp the pop singer's chart-topping career. He adds, "Keep her away from her stupid friends (and) buy her some underwear." Speaking at the San Diego, California auditions for the next American Idol contest, Jackson added, "We are going to manage Britney, we're gonna take good care of her... Britney, if you're listening, we're here for you."

Nothing in life is for free. So what does Simon really want? A huge cut of profits off her next album or the rights to film the whole thing???

Simon Cowell doesn't wish his friends well. In fact, he sits in his house turning green over their success. I am sure people out there think this way. But I never thought someone would come out and SAY IT!! Well, at least he is honest.

"If someone I know is doing better than me I get incredibly miserable. A lot of my friends are extremely wealthy, but I'm not envious of their money, however, I'm never pleased if they have a hit show. I don't go to bed thinking, "I'm really happy their show is doing so well'. It annoys me that it wasn't my idea. "When I watch Dancing with the Stars in America it makes me sick with envy because I didn't think if the idea myself. But that's how it should be - when you lose your competitive edge, you're over."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Simon Cowell just handed American Idol a death sentence. When asked whether or not he is returning for next season, Simon said:

"I'll have done 10 series and your time's up. It's time then to do something new. I think it's time to bring in new people... Ten years is a long time."

When asked who he wants to replace him... he said:

"Donald Trump"

Is that what Donald meant when he said he was working on a major network show. Will you watch the show if this ends up to be true? Doesn't Simon basically make the show? Can't we replace Randy instead?
