Are The 'True Blood' Male Leads Competing For Air Time?
According to Betty Confidential, the answer would be: yes. Sources tell Betty that 'True Blood' star Alexander Skarsgard wants more screen time than Stephen Moyer. Although Stephen is considered the lead, Alexander reportedly thought he would get more to do when the audience had such a positive response to his character, Eric.
Now that he's dating Evan Rachel Wood in real life, he is said to want their characters to become the next "super couple" on 'True Blood.'
"He wants to be the next Stephen and Anna. But Rachel’s character is only recurring and she’s a villain. And fans don’t favor her character like they do Sookie."
Alexander reportedly has even gone so far as to ask showrunner Alan Ball to show him scripts for season three (after feeling like his character got a bit sidelined last season), but Alan declined.

Stephen Moyer Warns Us On The Possible Dangers Of Texting
In a recent interview Stephen Moyer (HBO's True Blood) revealed a mishap with a text message he sent.
"I once accidentally messaged one of my friends something meant for a girlfriend, and it was incredibly inappropriate," "It was a proposal of sorts, to go and do something in a park. It was rather filthy, so I've since got used to triple-checking before I send texts now."
Isn't technology wonderful? Have you ever sent a text or email to the wrong recipient? Was it embarrassing?
He also commented on a problem that he has in common with Robert Pattinson:
"Robert Pattinson and I are probably the only people where the first thing people say is, 'Bite me,'" "Sometimes they try and bite me, which is weird."

Stephen Moyer Dishes On Wedding Details
'True Blood' star Stephen Moyer talked to People about his wedding plans to fiancee Anna Paquin. It's hard to tell if he's serious, though, because he kind of contradicts himself. On one hand, he seems to have selected his ring bearer.
"Splash, my alpha [dog, a 10-year-old border collie], will be the ringbearer," Moyer said...My son [Billy, born in 2000] might be unhappy about that."
Hmmm... sometimes boys don't care about these things. Yet Stephen has forgotten one small detail: the date of the wedding, so it sounds like things aren't quite finalized.
"We haven’t planned anything," Moyer said. "People say, 'You are engaged to be married,' and I’m like, 'Really? I thought we were just engaged.' "
I haven't heard that one before. Is that a new guy trick, like: look, I proposed, and you have your ring, so there's no need to actually rush on the wedding? LOL
I hope these two make it down the aisle: they're such a cute couple!

Now this is a party I would have loved to crash! True Blood and Dollhouse in the same room at the same time... I'm speechless.

Black seemed to be the color of the evening. AnnaLynn had a little fun with her heel, but besides that the group pretty much stayed tone down.

Anna Paquin and her fiance Stephen Moyer are house-hunting.
Isn't this an exciting time for a couple?
The 27-year-old starlet and her 39-year-old ‘True Blood’ co-star - who got engaged earlier this month - are currently searching for the perfect family home ahead of their nuptials.
The couple – who play on screen lovers, telepathic Sookie Stackhouse and vampire Bill Compton, spent the weekend looking at properties in Santa Monica, California.
A source said:
“They can’t wait to set up home together, they have viewed a few houses but are still yet to find the right one.”
A real estate agent took the duo to two moderately-priced houses while they search for a property with enough spare rooms to house Stephen’s two children - Billy, nine and Lilac, seven - from previous relationships.
Anna and Stephen have been dating since they filmed the pilot episode of the vampire drama in 2007.
