The NYC Premiere Of 'New Moon'
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli and a Taylor Lautner attended the Cinema Society & D&G screening of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema in NYC last night. It looked like a business meeting didn't it?! The event was very low key and a huge step down from their LA premiere. Wonder if the cast appreciated the quiet.
Entertainment Weekly caught up with Taylor and asked him who he thought was sexier - werewolves or vampires.
“That’s a hard question. They’re sexier in different ways. But, I mean, I’ll stay true to the pack. I’ll go werewolf.”
The actor was also excited to see Jacob's role expand a bit in the 'Twilight' sequel.
“It was really exciting for me that Jacob has the opportunity to develop his relationship with Bella in this movie,” he said. “Really it’s setting up this entire series, which is this love triangle. So it was great to have them develop their relationship.”
Will Stewart be hitting up a theatre this opening weekend? No way! However, Kristen is honored to play such a great character.
“I think Bella is a really good role model. To be able to play her is just a serious honor.”
I am DYING to see this movie. DYING.

LA Premiere Of 'New Moon'
Here's Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene, and Kellan Lutz at their West Coast premiere for their MUCH anticipated movie, 'New Moon'.

The premiere took place at the Mann Village and Bruin Theaters in Los Angeles.
A year can certainly make a difference. Fans were ballistic and security was everywhere. When asked if she was nervous about the large crowd, Kristen said:
"I'm not as scared as I was last year," said Stewart, despite a brief touch-and-go moment as she signed autographs. "At some point, the security guy said, 'This is very unsafe.' And I was like, 'Uh.' Other than that, everything was cool."
Robert says that the LA premiere was the biggest yet.
"And it seems different to me because we have done this world tour in the last week and it has just been unbelievable in every single city," he said. "It is about 10 times bigger than any other city in the world."
Pattinson also admitted that he would get naked on screen for the right role. What a question to ask!
“I think it would depend on what it is. And I don’t think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion!”
LOL! I guess there is some truth to that. I can't wait to see this movie... and for those of you who aren't fans - I am sure you CAN'T wait for it to be released and done with. :)

Taylor Swift Has No Problem Being Single
Just when it looked like Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were indeed coming out as The Taylors, Taylor's (Swift) new interview for the December issue of InStyle puts things in doubt. Here's what she has to say about her relationship with the 'New Moon' star:
"He and I have gotten really close," she says. "It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, 'Taylor, on your mark – no, not you, the other one!' So halfway through the shoot, I said, 'How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?' "
Too cute! Then Taylor says this:
"I've never thought it was a curse to be single, and at this point in my life, I'm in the mind-set where I choose to be single –] like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn't have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!"
And here's what Taylor had to say about "Swifty":
"Taylor is hilarious," he says. "It was definitely not hard to play her love interest."
Well, if you consider that these interviews are done months in advance, it could be that things progressed since Taylor sat down with InStyle... :)

Taylor Lautner Was Glad To Get Rid Of The Wig
Were you a fan of the wig Taylor Lautner wore for 'Twilight' and part of 'New Moon'? Many of you weren't, and neither was Taylor.
"I would not want that hair," he told the Boston Globe. "When I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn’t even recognize myself."
He does look like a completely different person with long hair!
Taylor also admitted he wasn't familiar with the 'Twilight' series before being cast as Jacob.
"As a matter of fact, I was not a book reader at all," Taylor said. "The only books I ever read were the ones I was forced to in school. But when I started reading this book series, I fell in love with the characters and started turning the pages one after another. It was crazy. I never thought I could do that. But I love this story...
"The fans are passionate about the book and all they want is those words on the pages brought up on the screen for them to watch," Taylor said. "We want to stay as close to the books as possible."
No plans to make major changes... always good to hear about movie adaptations of books :)

'New Moon' Trio Hits Germany
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner continue with the worldwide promotional tour for 'New Moon.' Their latest stop was Munich, Germany, where they presented 'New Moon' at the HBV Judendtrefft concert event.
What do you think of Kristen's dress for this event? I can barely recognize one picture of her: check out that smile in the thumbnails! She almost looks like a different person to me.
In a recent article, the actress admitted that she is misunderstood.
“
I do wish that people would focus more on the work, and I can’t say that I don’t take it personally. But I understand it because what you do as an actor is so tied up in who you are as a person,” she continued with a deep sigh. “What really kills me — it really rips me up — is when people think I’m abrasive, inconsiderate or ungrateful because I don’t go outside in a bikini and wave to the paparazzi. Come on!”
She does have a point.

Taylor Lautner Takes Brand New 'New Moon' Footage To Leno
'Twilight Saga: New Moon' fans will want to set their DVRs to record Jay Leno on Monday night. Word on the street is that Taylor Lautner will be bringing along footage of a never-before-seen clip from the movie!
According to Access Hollywood, fans are ALREADY camping outside of the theaters in Westwood, California, so that they can try to sneak a peek at the stars at the premiere on Monday. WOW! It's only Friday. I'm surprised that's allowed so far in advance. I'll stay at home and watch the live stream from my comfy couch, thank you very much. haha. Who has that kind of time? Those are true, hard-core Twilight fans.
