Brad Pitt Turns Down $5 Million To Spend Time With His Children
Brad Pitt reportedly turned down $5 million for a public appearance to spend time with his children.
The ‘Burn After Reading’ star had been due to attend the Grand Prix Ball Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on October 31, but failed to show up.
Photographs later revealed he had joined partner Angelina Jolie and their six children trick-or-treating for Halloween in Los Angeles. A source told Life and Style magazine:
“He’s spending more time with the family and doing less of these appearances, even though it’s a huge sum of cash.”
A spokesperson for the event - which featured performances from Beyonce Knowles, Aerosmith and Timbaland, and raised money for clean water charity Fresh2o - admitted Brad had been expected to attend and was unsure why he had shunned the huge appearance fee. James Magee, a representative for Global Event Management, said:
“We were told he would be attending as the guest of the Tourism Development and Investment Company. But he was a no-show, and nobody seemed to know why.”
While I can understand why Brad doesn't NEED the $5 million, I don't understand why he would commit to something and then not show. That's the part that's a bit off. At this point, Brad and Angie don't need to earn another dollar.

Rihanna Isn't Afraid Of Carbs

The slender ‘Umbrella’ singer is set to perform in London next week and amazed organizers with her requests for her favorite treats, which totaled more than 7,000 calories, and also included chips, microwave lasagnas, fried noodles, chicken drumsticks – and an apple.
AND AN APPLE! I LOVE THAT!!! LOL!
A show source said:
“When it comes to the big US stars, we’re used to getting ridiculously healthy requests. Rihanna was a breath of fresh air. There was none of this carb and gluten-free nonsense.”
The 21-year-old-star – who will launch her new album ‘Rated R’ at the concert next Monday, which will be streamed around the world – refuses to watch her diet because she believes performing helps her stop piling on the pounds.
“Being on tour gets you in shape which is good considering how I eat pretty much whatever I can get my hands on.
“You perform for an hour and a half so you can work some of it off at least. But not all of it!”
I want to believe this... but I can't. There is no way Rihanna eats like that everyday right? RIGHT? I have a can of soda and gain a pound.

Lady Gaga Lands At LAX
It's always so dramatic with Lady Gaga isn't it? Just look at her walking through LAX being quite theatrical. Slight movements of the hands, consistent frown, tilted head. I feel like I should be tipping her.
The singer also has her outfit unzipped to below her belly button - thank goodness we had no accidental slips!
Recently, Lady Gaga talked about the process of creating costumes for the upcoming Monster Ball Tour. The group responsible is called 'Haus of Gaga' and the singer considers them family.
"Well, right now, they're downtown in this warehouse designing and making everything for the tour," she revealed to MTV News. "And they're probably screaming at each other."
The design house is about much more than just coming up with Gaga's unbelievable fashion, the singer insisted. "They're my best friends," she said. "I'm not really sure what the world thinks ... but I do hear things like, 'Who is the Haus of Gaga?' and, 'Are you putting out a fashion line?' And no one gets it. It's not a commodity. It's not something that's meant to be sold."
Gaga said that aside from being co-workers, the Haus crew are also her closest allies. "It's a real bond and relationship, and that's what I think music and art is about," she said. "They are my heart and soul. They believe in me, and they look at me like a mother and daughter and sister, with pride and love."

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly just “friends with benefits”.
The ‘SexyBack’ singer – who is rumored to have split from the stunning actress in September after two-and-a-half years together – has decided he still wants Jessica involved in his life so makes sure they meet regularly.
"Justin was very clear with Jessica that he didn't want to be in a serious relationship with her anymore where he wasn't able to date other people. Jessica took the news very hard, but once she calmed down and they started talking again, he convinced her to stay friends who hook up, without all the pressure of a relationship."
"Justin gets the best of both worlds. He doesn't have to lose Jess as a lover or a friend, but he's free to explore other relationships."
It was reported the couple split because Justin was not ready to make a commitment and settle down.

Rihanna Doesn't Accept $10,000 Gifts From Strangers
Rihanna sent back a $10,000 bottle of champagne because she didn’t know the people who had bought it for her.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer was partying at Los Angeles nightclub The Bank at Wonderland when football star Braylon Edwards and his teammates sent the expensive drink over to her table.
However, Rihanna refused to accept the gift because she had no idea who they were. One partygoer said:
"She didn't know who they were, so she sent it back."
Well, not for nothing... but unless the bottle was closed, I wouldn't accept it either! One time when I was younger, a man bought me a drink while I was at a bar and I refused it because I don't drink alcohol. My male friend took it and DOWNED it and thirty minutes later we were all at the hospital pumping his stomach because it was drugged and he was having a bad reaction. I learned a huge lesson that day.
