Trista Sutter Discusses Family Planning
Former Bachelorette (and Bachelor contestant) Trista Sutter is happy with her family as it is, now that Blakesley Grace has joined the family, which also includes Blakesley's older brother, Max.
'Now that we have the two healthy children we always dreamed of, Ryan
and I have decided that our family is the perfect size, and we want to
devote our time and energy to them,' says Sutter, who has suffered
birth complications, including gestational diabetes and preeclampsia."
So Trista will undergo a permanent birth control procedure called Essure.
Essure is a minimally-invasive procedure performed in a doctor's office in about 10 minutes, the rep explains to Us.
Small, flexible micro-inserts are placed within a woman's fallopian
tubes through the cervix without incisions. Over the next three months,
the body forms a natural barrier around the micro-inserts to prevent
sperm from reaching the egg. The procedure -- which 250,000 women have
undergone -- is 99.8 percent effective.Adds Sutter: 'After looking at all my options I realized that Essure is
the best fit for me and my lifestyle. I like it because the procedure
can be performed in my doctor’s office without general anesthesia, and
the quick recovery means I can get back to my life and my family right
away.'"
I completely understand Trista's decision, and hey, only she can make it, but I wonder why she decided to speak out about it publicly. Maybe to let other women know about various permanent birth control options?

Trista And Ryan Sutter Welcome A Baby Girl
Trista and Ryan Sutter are happy to announce the birth of their baby daughter, Blakesley Grace Sutter. I have never heard of the name Blakesley before - what do you think about it? Fits right into the celebrity world right?
Trista told Life and Style Magazine that everyone is doing wonderfully.
"She's healthy. Everything is really good," an exhausted Trista tells Life & Style exclusively.
This is Trista's second child with Ryan. They welcomed Maxwell Alston in 2007.

Trista Sutter Voices Her Thoughts On The Bachelor Shocker
By now, I'm sure you've heard about the big Bachelor shocker (whether you watch the show or not). If you haven't, the quickest of recaps: the bachelor, Jason Mesnick, proposed to Melissa, one of two "finalist" for his heart, on the season finale, only to change his mind on the After the Final Rose show last night, break up with her on television, and ask for another chance with the woman he rejected during the season finale, Molly.
Got all that? Good. Former Bachelorette (and Bachelor contender) Trista Sutter has no qualms about giving her two cents about the whole debacle.
'How could you go from being engaged to someone to kissing someone else on the couch?!' Trista tells momlogic.com. 'He doesn't deserve to walk away scot-free.
I said [to Melissa], 'I'm proud of the way you handled it.' She deserves so much
better! Melissa hasn't been able to say anything about this until now,
so I think she's relieved. I am happy she can finally move on. As far
as I'm concerned, this is a blessing in disguise. Now she can find
someone who truly loves her.' "
And that's not all. She has some advice for Molly.
'He is obviously fickle,' she tells momlogic.com 'He didn't want to
fight for the relationship between he and Melissa. He gave up. If you
have such strong feelings for someone, at least give it a chance before
making such a big decision.' "
On one hand, I think Trista has a point. On the other, if it's not working out (and you're contractually obligated to make your feelings known on live television, as Jason claims), then it's better to end things, right?
Looking for love on television is not for the faint of heart.

Trista And Ryan Sutter Having A Second Baby!
Congrats to the happy couple! Trista and Ryan Sutter have a second little one on the way. A friend of theirs talked to the rags and said,
“Trista is pregnant again and she is very happy. She has always wanted a second child so she is thrilled!”
While we don't follow a whole lot of reality stars on INO besides Lauren and Audrina, I thought I'd post about Trista and Ryan since I'm amazed that they're still together and actually making it work. Who would have thought that you really can find true love on a reality show?!?
Trista sat down with Life & Style Magazine to give them an update on how she found and how happy she and Ryan are!!!
L&S: How soon after Max’s July 2007 birth did you start trying again?
Trista: I was only on birth control for a couple of
months. We thought that if it took us as long as it did with Max — two
years — why try to prevent it? So we started trying in January.
L&S: Were you surprised you were able to get pregnant so quickly?
Trista: I was in total shock! I took a few tests, and
they all came back negative. But a few weeks after Max’s 1st birthday,
all of a sudden I thought to myself, I don’t think I’ve had my period
in a while. So I took another test — the line was extremely faint, but
it was there!
L&S: Did you tell Ryan right away?
