No Extravagant Wedding For Vince Vaughn
Vince Vaughn hates extravagant celebrity weddings. The Hollywood hunk – who is engaged to Canadian estate agent Kyla Weber – wants to have a “small” intimate ceremony because he loathes over-the-top nuptials.
“Thankfully we’re going to have a small wedding with just our families, which is good. I’ve seen these huge weddings on cliff-tops and it’s unclear what goes through these people’s minds. But then I always start taking bets ‘Wedding Crashers’ style, like, ‘I give this wedding a year-and-a-half tops.’ ”
The 39-year-old actor believes soon-to-be married couples overcompensate by planning lavish weddings in a bid to deter them from divorce. He is reported by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying:
“If the wedding is that big and that crazy, you start to go, ‘What are they making up for?’ Is that a way to convince each other – ‘Let’s make the biggest spectacle possible because there’s no way we can get a divorce from this.’ And inevitably they do.”
Hmmmmnn - someone should do a study on this. Correlation between divorce rates and money spent on celebrity weddings! :) Vince might have something here.

Vince Vaughn Strategized His Marriage Proposal
'Couples Retreat' star Vince Vaughn told Ellen Degeneres (on her show, which will air Monday) how he proposed to Kyla Weber.
"Have you seen these things where these people ask people to marry them in really public ways and then the people say no?" he says. "You think they would have had a little talk before they went to that extreme. Then you start to wonder, 'Did they go to such a big public display to corner the other person so they couldn't say no?'"
"I knew we had talked about it. I knew we were both kind of in agreeance with it," he goes on.
Then, he says, it became a question of "'When do you ask?'"
So Vince settled on Valentine's Day. Who knew Vince was such a romantic?
"I figured this is not a ship to be missed because I will not forget this date," Vaughn says. "So Valentine's Day was the day that I asked her."
LOL! I guess he's pragmatic, too. Congratulations to Vince and Kyla!

Couples Retreat Stars Talk About Movie
The cast of the upcoming feature film “Couples Retreat” spoke to Ben Lyons about stripping down for a scene in the film on E!’s “Daily 10” (airing tonight at 7:30 p.m., ET/PT).
When asked if the scene in which everyone strips down made for an awkward day on set, star Vince Vaughn says: “No not really, it was just a fun day on set. You know Faizon (Love) was such a good sport with that I think it's always easier to laugh at yourself I think.”
Writer and star Jon Favreau disagrees: “It was a weird day on set. You know Faizon takes a lot of guff for actually going fully commando and being naked. I wrote that into the script, so it’s my fault. I'm sorry Faison for doing that to you.”
The cast then talked about a scene involving a yoga instructor (played by Carlos Ponce. Hawk says: “Did you see our yoga coach? I'm not turned off by that yoga coach. Wait is my husband gonna see this?”
Vince added: “The thing with Carlos is, the girls really find him attractive, and it made me funnier standing next to him.”
Ben then asked Jason and Kristin if they watched the scene and naturally things got funny.
Jason Bateman : “Well I don't close my eyes anymore around Carlos Ponce ‘cause you might open up a –“
Kristen Bell: “Mixed nuts? And as I always tell Jason it's always been a dream of mine to see another man sit on his face and so for me this –“
Bateman: “See, everybody's got their price. You keep saying that you just need to cut me a check!”
Bell: “It was a true dream of mine, it was fulfilling so thank you.”
Everyone has different dreams right? LOL!!! Will you be heading to the theatre to see this movie?

Vince Vaughn Jokes About Male Yoga Instructors
Vince Vaughn thinks men become yoga instructors so they can "dry-hump" women. The 'Couples Retreat' actor was horrified when he went to a class and saw the "creepy" instructor draping himself all over his unsuspecting students. The 39-year-old star said:
"I had a girlfriend in Los Angeles who took me to a yoga class. While it was going on I was saying to myself, 'Is this really happening?' It was like the instructor was making all these moves and he was basically dry humping the girls. Nobody batted an eye. I felt like I was in 'The Twilight Zone'."
Vince – who is currently engaged to Canadian real estate agent Kyla Weber – also revealed what he looks for in a girlfriend, saying he likes someone who can make him laugh. He added to Parade.com:
"Friendship is the biggest thing for me, and also a sense of humor. I like someone that can make me laugh. I like to laugh at stuff, especially myself.
"Life is always peaks and valleys, there's going to be good times and bad times. So the biggest thing, for me, is having someone that makes you laugh and that you trust.”
I am sure that Kyla has the same priorities. Imagine dating Vince and having access to his humor all day long? :) I think he's one of the funniest guys in the industry.

Vince Vaughn Is Ready To Settle Down
Vince Vaughn's "swinger" days are behind him. He's engaged to Canadian real estate agent Kyla Weber and is ready to settle down and start a family.
"It's the first time that I really want to have kids," he told PEOPLE while promoting his new comedy Couples Retreat. "I've been very fortunate in my career, and my life has been about that for so long that you get bored of it. You're ready for your life to be about other people and other things," Vaughn said.
The movie 'Couples Retreat' was shot in Bora Bora and even that was a family affair.
"We had a lot of fun, which was good, and my sister was there and my nephew was there," he says.
'Couples Retreat' director, Peter Billingsley, who's known Vince for years, says even the partying has changed.
"The parties are a lot different than they used to be – that's for sure!" Billingsley says. "I still come with the point of view to have a great time, but it's kids and strollers and babies and clowns."
Aww, Vince is growing up- LOL. Are you interested in seeing 'Couples Retreat'? The cast (Kristen Bell, Malin Ackerman, Jason Bateman, and Jon Favreau) looks fantastic!

Is it Christmas!? I'm so confused. When's the last time we saw Vince Vaughn doing anything? The photographers no longer follow him (guess all that press while he was with Jennifer Aniston was overkill), yet the paps thankfully recognized him at Dodgers' Stadium.
