We were all shocked to hear that Jackie Collins had died. It was even more shocking to hear that she died of breast cancer and had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer six and a half years ago. In that time, she continued to publish books and tour to support her books. Only her daughters knew she was sick; she didn’t even tell her siblings, including her sister Joan Collins, until a couple of weeks before her death. Her final newsletter, which was scheduled to go out in October to announce the release of a new book called ‘The Stud’ as well as talk about her cancer diagnosis, has gone out with what ended up being her final letter to her fans.
Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow announced her split from Chris Martin by saying they had decided to engage in an “conscious uncoupling”? People immediately leaped on the unusual term, and, of course, more than a few jokes were told. Now Gwyneth herself is poking fun at the whole fiasco while promoting a new book.
Stephen Colbert did a hilarious video last week spoofing celebrity lifestyle brands. As I’m sure you know, Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP is one of the most well-known celebrity lifestyle brands out there right now, and Gwyneth is no stranger to being, well, teased. She decided to tease right back in GOOP.
Have you paid for access for any of the new Kardashian websites? It sounds like there is some interesting content there, but I’ll ‘fess up now and admit that I haven’t, at least, not yet ;). There’s one video that sounds particularly interesting, however: Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian had an on-camera chat.
