If you’ve been reading INO for at least a year, you know of the problems I had with my last pregnancies. For two months, I was hospitalized with the fear that my body would go into to early labor and potentially lose my little Liam. Luckily, in the end, I gave birth to a full term baby. But there are moms out there who need a bit more support and the March of Dimes has been around for decades doing just that. While attending this year’s BlogHer Business conference, I met someone from the organization who let me know of their current initiative. Sherri Shepard, Eli Manning and Tom Bergeron (from Dancing with the Stars) are all lending their celebrity to help promote the event.

March for Babies will be held the last weekend in April in hundreds of communities nationwide.

This year, several celebrities have given their support to the March of Dimes work to help moms and babies those born healthy as well as those who need help to survive and thrive.

Tom Bergeron, host of Dancing with the Stars, returns as the 2008 March for Babies national spokesman. Sherri Shepherd, co-host of The View, is the celebrity chairwoman of the Los Angeles March for Babies, while New York Giants Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Eli Manning will serve as the New York City celebrity chairman.

Formerly called WalkAmerica, the 39th annual fundraising walk was renamed to draw a clear connection to what the March of Dimes is all about stronger, healthier babies. March for Babies participants, nearly a half million in 2007, walk for many reasons; some in memory of a child lost to premature birth, some to spare others the problems they faced, others simply because they believe that the March of Dimes work in communities nationwide helps give every baby a healthy start in life.

I’ve been wanting to write about my personal life, but didn’t have a place to do it. Now I do!! And so can you in a safe place where everyone knows what you are going through.

I was hoping to have the site design up and ready this morning, but so is life. I wanted to give you the links to my new sections so you can check them out:

• Fit Celeb — Remember my childhood buddies who started a fitness site? Well, we talked it through and they are now working on INO. All the fitness and health tips your little tush can handle.
• Product Junkie – Are you a beauty product freak? Do you like to read about the newest and greatest products? Do you have a favorite that you want the world to know about? This is the section for you!
• Fashionista — Are you a clotheshorse? Or at least want to be? Do you like to read about steals and deals? AND MY FASHION FINDS? All of your shopping needs have moved to one place!

Eventually, it will all be very easy to hop back and forth between sections should you want to. Remember, from now on, fashion finds are now available at Fashionista only.

I wanted to give everyone the link to INO’s new beauty and shopping section. Instead of having these posts show up on my regular blog, I designated a separate place where you can go only if you want to. Eventually, this area will be all encompassing. But my designer is backed up with work, so that won’t happen for another week or so.

In the meantime, I wanted to pass the link along to anyone who is interested. I am also looking for reader submissions.

My two dear friends (you know, the type of friends you got fake ids with when you were in high school to go clubbing in the city) started their very own celebrity fitness blog and I HAD to pass it along! I am SOOOOO excited for them and am completely hooked on FitCeleb. So this isn’t celebrity related… but I just had to share. Australian inventors are creating a closet that will tell you what to wear, how to match it, and whether or not you’ve worn it before while visiting a particular friend.

Here’s how it works: When hung, clothes embedded with “electronic panels” talk to electronic hangers, which then communicate with the closet computer (it’s a computer trapped inside the body of a closet!). The computer will track what you’ve worn and warn you if you’re about to meet a person for the second time in the same clothes, or suggest what tie matches your shirt.
