Whitney Houston fans, your wait is nearly over. The title and release date of Whitney's new album has been announced on her website whitneyhouston.com.
The title is: I Look To You.
And, most importantly, it will be released on: September 1, 2009!

Two Whitneys Out And About
The name is about the only thing these two women have in common. Reality tv star (The Hills, The City) Whitney Port does some shopping in lacy leggings with silver flats, a creamy coat (which I want), and a heavy scarf. What do you think of her look?
Regardless of what you think of Whitney Port's look, music icon Whitney Houston's casual look is completely different! Here she is in LAX wearing jeans, knee-high (suede?) boots, and a large beige scarf. But before you think she looks too plain, check out that rock on her finger! (I have to point out it's on her left hand ;) Maybe it's a gift from her rumored boyfriend, Ray-J (Brandy's little brother)?

Whitney Houston To Perform At Grammy Bash
This could be dangerous! The last time Whitney Houston sang live, I couldn't get it out of my mind for weeks. She was out of practice and on lots of drugs, I get that. Has enough time passed and therapy had? We are all rooting for you Whitney!!
But alas, the show must go on. It has been CONFIRMED that Whitney will perform at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party.
IT'S official - Whitney Houston "will, barring any physical ailments, perform at Clive Davis'
pre-Grammy party," a rep for Davis told Page Six.
The party Davis is
co-hosting with NARAS at the Beverly Hilton on Feb. 7 will also feature
performances by Jennifer Hudson - who hasn't sung since her mother, brother and nephew were slain in October - and Sean Combs.
Want in? Too bad. No one gets in unless you are on the list. Page Six is reporting that people are offering up to $20,000 for a ticket and getting rejected! Thank goodness for YouTube! Can't wait to see what she does.
Bobby Brown Says Domestic Abuse Claims Are False
Bobby Brown might be a bit wild and ecentric... but he isn't an abuser. At least that's what he's claiming in his most recent interview with MTV. For 15 years, we watched the ups and downs of his relationship with Whitney Houston. We all heard the stories when Whitney would call the police to have them come and calm Bobby after a hug fight. But the singer admits he never hit her...
"I mean, I’m guilty of getting upset and flying off the handle a little. I was known to throw a bottle or two at a wall or something.
Things that I’d regret, I would be responsible for cleaning up or having the wall repaired."What people fail to realize is that Whitney is no punk. She definitely knows how to handle and defend herself in situations that could have potentially been violent. Some of the stories in the media made me out to be like Ike Turner, when that wasn’t my character."

Whitney Houston's Daughter Tried To Stab Her Mom And Kill Herself
This story is so sad. Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina tried to stab her mom during an argument and then slit her wrists in a suicide attempt. This was just a few days before her 15th birthday. Part of Bobbi Kristina's problem is that she doesn't want to live with Whitney anymore. She is now in a psychiatric ward in Atlanta, hopefully getting the help she needs.

I guess having a boyfriend whose occupation is a musician is the same as having one as a comic. Your relationship is... material. Whitney Houston had some personal details exposed in one of Ray J's newest songs, Boyfriend. And why does it sound like he is trying to start trouble with Bobbie Brown?
"Is that your wife, is that your shorty? Well I'm her boyfriend... I think the problem is you don't beat it right... Making love is cool, just pull her hair sometimes."
I mean... how rude is that?! I would be so embarrassed if I was this iconic MEGA superstar and some 20 year old was talking about pulling my hair. Wonder what her daughter thinks about it? Guess Bobbie does too as he writes about the relationship in his book, The Truth, The Whole Truth And Nothing But....
"Their relationship doesn't bother me. She's open to see whoever she wants to see, just like I can see who I want to see. I know the age difference between her and the little guy is 20 years, but to each his own. The only concern I had was how our daughter felt about the age difference. As long as she's cool with it, it's fine by me."
