What a cool story! Wyclef Jean was so inspired by Venus Williams after the two were paired in an episode of Iconoclasts (a show on the Sundance Channel about people who are innovators in their field) that he wrote a song about her! The song is called Venus (I'm Ready) and will be like an anthem to the Olympic gold medalist.

"Venus’ determination and mental strength inspires me! Much like Isis, her strength should be celebrated."

And of course, Venus is thrilled. Who wouldn't be?!?

episode but not even in my wildest imagination, did I expect that such
a beautiful song would be one of the outcomes from meeting Wyclef. He
is an amazing human being and it is truly an honor for me to be
recognized in such a wonderful way by such a gifted musician and
exceptional person."

Talk about amazing!!! I always think it's so cool when women who have artistic boyfriends have songs written about them. Although in this case, not so much...it's like the ultimate romantic gesture. Don't you think?
