'Important director'? I'm sorry, Spielberg is an important director, Mann is an important director, Scorcese is an important director. . .Bay just makes films with hot chicks, hot cars, over-the-top special effects, and a crap load of explosions. And for him to take credit for Will Smith, Ben Affleck, and Nicolas Cages careers? I don't remember Bay directing 'Ali', or 'The Pursuit of Happiness'? And I sure as hell know he didn't direct 'Good Will Hunting' cuz there's not a single explosion in the entire thing. He's good at what he does, and he's not shy about what he does. Fox is an airhead but PLEASE the only revolutionary filmmaking Bay has EVER done is turning summer movies into subliminal infomercials.
