Alicia Keys Shoots A Music Video

Alicia Keys was spotted filming a music video in Rio de Janeiro. It's for the song 'Put It In a Love Song.' I wish I could do something that required me to go to Rio!
This current album, 'Element of Freedom,' is Alicia's first album to reach the top of the charts in the U.K.
Have you heard Alicia's latest album? Are you a fan of it (or this song in particular)?

Charlie Sheen In "Intense Therapy"

According to people close to Charlie Sheen, he is working hard on his issues to make things better with wife Brooke Mueller.
"Charlie and Brooke already are going through intense marriage counseling and Charlie has been very religious about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and serious anger management counseling.
"He's telling everyone that he is going to do everything he can to make it work - and last."
I REALLY hope this is true because, regardless of what ultimately happens with Charlie's and Brooke's marriage, they will always have to co-parent their twin boys.
I also hope Charlie gets the message (and Brooke, too, I guess) that these types of incidents are very serious. Obviously whatever happened between them went far beyond a typical (or even bad) marital argument.

Lady GaGa Feels Too Shy To Be A Celebrity

I NEVER would've guessed this one, but appearances can be deceiving, apparently. Lady GaGa says she's actually a very shy person and has trouble meeting people, especially in Hollywood.
"I don't really meet that many other artists because I'm actually kinda shy. I might not be shy with people that I know but with people that I don't know I am very shy.
"I generally really keep to myself and I am focused on my music. But when I do meet people that I have lots in common with it goes really well. I always feel shy in the Hollywood scene. I feel a bit like I did in high school, like I don't really fit in."
She feels like she doesn't fit in in Hollywood? Where else would Lady GaGa fit in?
Actually, though, as I think about it, I can see where someone could be an enthusiastic performer but very shy in one-on-one interactions. I think that's what she means.

Katie Holmes Back In New York City

So much for the sunshine and warm weather of Miami! Katie Holmes was spotted out braving the cold in New York City this morning. I wonder what brings her back here? If I had a home in LA (like I'm sure she and Tom Cruise do), I'd be there until spring, at least :)
Katie gets so much paparazzi attention that the police actually had to escort her when she went from one event to another while at the Sundance Film Festival. Crazy!
What do you think of Katie's cold weather gear? I never would've thought to pair a light gray knit cap and scarf with a brown coat, but it works for her. You know, as I think about it, Katie needs to come out with a fashion line :)

Minka Kelly Looks For 'True Love'

Noooo, things haven't gone bad between Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter. Minka's search for love is strictly work related, according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. The former 'Friday Night Lights' star has been cast in a new pilot called 'True Love.'
The project — produced by Matt Tarses of Scrubs and Worst Week fame — focuses on four friends looking for love in New York. Kelly will play Kate, who’s described as sweet, strong-willed, and Midwestern.
I'd need to know more before deciding whether or not I'd watch, but it sounds promising, don't you think?

Details On Taylor Lautner And Taylor Swift's First Kiss

'Valentine's Day' director Garry Marshall told E! News' Marc Malkin he saw Taylor Lautner's and Taylor Swift's romance blossom right before his eyes on set.
"I always start with the kissing scenes," director Garry Marshall told [Marc Malkin]... "The first thing they did was kiss.
"The first three were nice. By the fourth I think they started going together. I don't what the hell happened, but somewhere in the fifth or sixth take they were dating."
At the Taylors' ages, I can understand that- LOL.
Can you imagine just starting to work with someone and starting out with the kissing scenes? I guess it makes sense, though; the actors don't stew in nervous anticipation if they get it out of the way up front :)
This story would've been even more amusing if the Taylors were still together, but oh well. (And if you're wondering why Taylor Swift wasn't there, it's because she's on tour in Australia.)
Garry also confirmed that there are plans for a 'Valentine's Day' sequel that will center on New Year's Eve, and he's already signed on to direct.
"They're making me the holiday director," Marshall cracked. "I'm also going to do Flag Day [and] Arbor Day. Now, for all the holidays, I'll be doing something."
Hmmm... it could be good, depending on what the stories are. I like these ensemble movies. How about you?
